JOB, THE UPRIGHT MAN (DAY 71 OF 365)

JOB, THE UPRIGHT MAN
(Nuggets from Job 1:8)

God said to Satan, “Have you seen my servant Job? He is a righteous (perfect and upright) man, he loves (fears) me and rejects (eschews) evil.”

God emphatically stated that there was no one like Job in the earth. This was not vague or false, IT WAS A STATEMENT OF FACT.

If you strive to put God first in your life, God will surely put a hedge of protection around you.

That doesn’t mean your life will be safe and comfortable all the way through. There will be trials and hurdles along the way, but God will make them stepping stones to take you to greater heights.

Hundreds of years after Job, King David seconds those ideas in Psalm 125.

David says that God is your fortress and your protection. So, when you don’t feel like God is surrounding you like the mountains surround Jerusalem, you won’t be the first person to ever feel that way; remember He is always with you.

Rather than wandering away from God’s protection and taking stuff on your own shoulders, you can ask God what He’s doing in and through you, and how you can become a part of what He’s doing in the situation.

One striking thing that kept Job going was his UNFLINCHING CONFIDENCE, UNWAVERING FAITH and UNPARALLELED RESILIENCE.

Job didn't allow the circumstances that bedeviled him to lead him into compromise; he eschewed evil before his dilemma and when he was at the peak of his trauma, he still eschewed evil regardless.

BE CHALLENGED BY THE LIFE AND STORY OF JOB AND NEVER FAIL ANY TEST GOD PRESENTS TO YOU.

This is HOLINESS CHALLENGE
