THE NEPHILIMS AND THE FATE OF THE REBELLIOUS ANGELS (DAY 113 OF 365)

THE NEPHILIMS AND THE FATE OF THE REBELLIOUS ANGELS
(Nuggets from Jude 1:6)

PART A  - WHO ARE THE NEPHILIMS
To understand today's verse better, let's take a look at what these Angels did, and how the NEPHILIMS came into existence in the first place.

Join me to the book of Genesis 6:2-4 (God's Word Version)

"The sons of God saw that the daughters of other humans were beautiful. So they married any woman they chose. Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not struggle with humans forever, because they are flesh and blood. They will live 120 years.”The Nephilim (Giants) were on the earth in those days, as well as later, when the sons of God slept with the daughters of other humans and had children by them. These children were famous long ago."

After the rebellion of Lucifer and the ⅓ of Angels that he deceived to join him, they were cast down to the earth. However, during the time of Noah, some Angels (described as sons of God) looked down upon the earth and lusted after the beautiful women they saw, and they had carnal knowledge of them. As a punishment, God placed them in perpetual bondage, chained them in darkness, as they await the final day of reckoning - THE WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT.

However, their evil deeds distorted the course of nature: celestial beings copulating with human beings, and the result of this evil union was the birth of NEPHILIMS - GIANTS who were so fierce at that time.

History has it that the Nephilims who were then existing in the world during Noah's time began to mate with animals and those animals birthed strange alien-looking monsters, and this continued while God gave the people time to repent while they heard the preaching of Noah.

These Nephilims became more terrific and started eating voraciously, they ate every farm produce meant for humans and for the sustenance of the livestock, they ate all and proceeded to eat animals because of their insatiable hunger.

The horrific part was when these Nephilims started eating humans. Things spiralled out of control and God didn't want this to become a norm, lest the human race wouldn't continue in the course of nature as He had designed from creation.

In order to punish them and cleanse the Earth and get rid of these NEPHILIMS and every monstrous creature they had birthed, and also to wipe them off totally, He used the flood.

The flood that destroyed the generation of Noah was primarily because God needed to reset the earth and get rid of these Nephilims and the other creatures they had birthed. But the ancestry of these Nephilims - The Fallen Angels who lusted after humans (not Lucifer's co-rebels) have been reserved for ETERNAL DAMNATION.

PART B - THE COST OF REBELLION

God is sovereign and He rules over all, both Spirits, Angels, Celestial beings, Humans, demons, satan and his cohorts. God reigns supreme and no one can alter His programme or challenge His authority.

Immediately after the RAPTURE, the GREAT TRIBULATION will begin, and last for 7 years (3½ years of PEACE and 3½ years of TORTURE). After the Great Tribulation, God will confine the antichrist, the beast, satan himself and all his demons in the bottomless pit (Abyss) for 1000 years while He reigns with His saints here on Earth from His throne in the temple at Jerusalem. After this millennial reign, satan will be released again for a short period of time, during which he will deceive more people and then shortly afterwards, the white throne judgment will take place.

It is during the WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT that God will Judge everyone and reward all for their GOOD or BAD deeds; the SAINTS will be JUSTIFIED and given their crowns of RIGHTEOUSNESS and their mansions, while the sinners will be CONDEMNED and Hellfire will be emptied into the Lake of Fire, and all sinners, and Lucifer, his demons, the antichrist, the beast, the ⅓ REBELLIOUS ANGELS, and the fallen angels who birthed the NEPHILIMS will all be cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the FINAL JUDGMENT, and after this,  the New Heaven and New Earth will emerge.
(Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:1-3)

Are you preparing for ETERNITY or do you think these are mere stories?

The choice is yours to make today, but I advise you to choose the brighter side of Eternity by living your life to the Glory of God because ETERNITY IS REAL

FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST AS OF OLD (DAY 112 OF 365)

FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST AS OF OLD
(Nuggets from Acts 2:4)

As promised by our Lord Jesus before His departure, the Holy Spirit did come, but not only on the twelve Apostles, but on all who were gathered in the upper room.

Today's verse highlights the significance of an altar of prayer and communion with God, and how this serves as a catalyst for empowerment to do God's work.

Where do you meet with God?

It was in the upper room that Jesus had the last supper with his disciples and gave them bread and wine, signifying his broken body and blood that would be shed for the sins of the world. It was in this same upper room that Jesus washed His disciples' feet and promised them that the Holy Spirit would come upon them after His departure.

It was in this same upper room that Jesus appeared to His disciples after His resurrection, and there couldn't have been a better place for them to experience the fulfillment of this promise other than the same UPPER ROOM.

Even though they had been with the Lord for three years of His earthly ministry, the apostles were not equipped to carry out our Lord's Great Commission until they were filled with the Holy Spirit. Jesus also promised that we would do greater works than He did.  Obviously we cannot accomplish these greater works through our own self efforts.

The Holy Spirit whom the disciples received at Pentecost enabled them to change the course of history.

To be FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, you need to first of all understand who He is.

He is God, with all attributes of God; the Spirit of God, He is a person, He is not a force or an impersonal being, He possesses intellect, emotion and will; He is an INTELLIGIBLE BEING.

He is the third person in the Trinity. He is co-equal with God the Father and God the Son. The HOLY GHOST is the HOLY SPIRIT of God and because God cannot condone any form of iniquity, He cannot dwell in a heart/life that is polluted.

You need to be sure what you're asking for, because to be filled with the Holy Ghost comes with a price.

Are you sure you want your personality to be taken over by One who will require obedience to God's instructions? Who will not tolerate any sin or nasty nature in your life? Who will not permit you to strut or boast or show off? Who will take full control of your life and reserve the sovereign right to test you and discipline you? Who will strip away from you every idol that secretly harms your soul?

Unless you can answer an eager “Yes” to these questions, you do not want to be FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST.

THINK YOU'RE WISE IN YOUR EYES? (DAY 111 TO 365)

THINK YOU'RE WISE IN YOUR EYES?
(Nuggets from Proverbs 26:12)

Today's scripture warns us against SELF-CONCEIT, SELF-IMPORTANCE, SELF-SUFFICIENCY, and SELF-EXALTATION.

The only one whom God puts on a lower level than a fool is a conceited fool - those who think they know it all, and as a result, resist every opportunity to learn, improve or take corrections when necessary.

Self-conceited individuals are likened to the man described by King Solomon in Proverbs 29:20:
"Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? There is more hope of a fool than of him". The man described here is a fiery and hot-tempered person. Such people have refused to allow Christ to rule them; the SELF in them still has the upper hand.

Apostle Paul also described SELF-CONCEITED people in Romans 12:16. They are those who have distorted minds, not having the same mind with one another, especially in the household of Faith; they are those who mind high things, who never condescend to men of low estate just like Jesus our Lord who gave up His status in the trinity to come and die for a sinful and wicked world.

WISE PEOPLE ARE THOSE WHO ARE EAGER TO LEARN AND IMPROVE BY THE DAY.

You won't see a wise person gushing over the fact that he or she knows a lot; they learn, build and grow secretly, but the results are seen in the public. A wise person wants to learn from anyone, irrespective of the age gap. A Wise person may be old but what makes them stand out is that they are humble enough to learn from a child if that's the only thing it would take to get better and improve.

Those who are wise in their own conceit are exhibiting SPIRITUAL ARISTOCRACY, forgetting that there are no aristocrats in this Kingdom. God is the ONLY SUPREME DEITY, and everyone else is His subject.

Another characteristic trait of those who are wise in their own conceit is that they are given to schism and caste-distinction in the house of God, forming cliques and parties, carrying themselves about with over bloated self-esteem and marginalizing others.

THESE THINGS OUGHT NOT BE IN THE HOUSE OF GOD!

You are wise not because you tell people so, but because you choose to remain humble even though you know a lot. Stop bragging as though you can do life alone without the assistance of anyone.

You need someone, we all do.

Appreciate every moment you have to improve on yourself and harness every opportunity you have to grow because NO MAN IS AN ISLAND.

UNRULY BELIEVERS (DAY 110 OF 365)

UNRULY BELIEVERS
(Nuggets from Titus 1:10)

Apostle Paul left Titus in charge of a young church on the island of Crete, a place known for immorality and rebellion. Titus needed to appoint capable leaders to both teach against false teachers and demonstrate TRUE GODLINESS by confidently teaching the truth that both SALVATION and GODLINESS are found in Jesus alone.

The island of Crete was a strategic port for the Roman Empire. People from all over the world visited this island, so Apostle Paul started a church there and left his protégé, Titus in charge; but Crete was also notorious for its REBELLIOUS, VIOLENT, and IMMORAL CULTURE (Titus 1:12), and in Paul’s absence, a group of Cretan teachers began to influence Titus’ church. This was what necessitated this letter to Titus.

These teachers were making money off a false understanding of what it means to be godly in an ungodly world (Titus 1:10-11). Among other things, they claimed that FAITH is not enough to become a GODLY FOLLOWER of Jesus, but being CIRCUMCISED is - WHAT A DECEIT.

Paul didn't hesitate to swing into action, he quickly told Titus to correct them sharply (Titus 1:13). This DOCTRINE that was propagated by these FALSE TEACHERS was an outright denial of the salvation that came through the death of Jesus on the cross of Calvary. Circumcision is not necessary to become a GODLY member of God's family, and public displays of religious identity aren’t how God transforms cultures. These teachers are liars. Their teachings prove that they truly don’t know God or what he wants (Titus 1:15-16).

It is so unfortunate that the body of Christ is bedevilled with UNRULY FOLKS who claim to be Christians their lives show otherwise. UNRULY "BELIEVERS" are incorrigible, they don't like to be faulted or indicted for their wrong deeds.

God is calling you to be a means of correction in His house, be a SALT that preserves, not a pollutant that corrupts.
You are called to lead people to Christ and not to mislead them to turn away from the Lord.

FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD (DAY 109 OF 365)

FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD
(Nuggets from James 2:26)

WORKS without DYNAMIC LIVING FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ cannot produce SALVATION or VICTORY over sin. On the other hand, FAITH in the form of declaring a dogma or confessing a creed, which fails to produce life and visible impact according to the word of God will condemn the bearer.

Any FAITH that does not have the cross of Calvary as its proper object is a DEAD kind of FAITH.

James introduced the idea of HEARING and DOING at the end of chapter 1, along with a definition of PURE and UNDEFILED RELIGION. Chapter 2 then put a spotlight on a specific example of worldly behavior in the church that contradicted that definition and the biblical standard of loving God and loving our neighbors.

Our ACTIONS and BELIEFS must line up with each other. This is the crux of James’s message. Faith works.

FAITH and WORKS aren’t mutually exclusive. In fact, James tells us that faith apart from works is dead. Works don’t save us, but good works should follow true faith.

James said even demons know the truth about God. They could give all the right Sunday School answers, but they don’t faithfully live for Him as Savior and Lord.

Head knowledge doesn’t save you. It doesn’t make you a Christian. Doing this Bible study doesn’t make you a Christian. Real faith is demonstrated in real action. Faith works!

In the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37), Jesus told a story of three men who encountered another man who had been beaten, robbed, and left for dead on the side of the road. The first two men were a priest and a Levite, highly respected religious figures in the Jewish community; B?but they failed to live out the essence of the law they taught others: love your neighbor as yourself. Their religion was worthless because what they claimed to believe in their minds didn’t result in changed hearts and behaviors.

FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD; PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH, AND IF YOU TRULY LOVE JESUS, PROVE IT BY THE LIFE YOU LIVE.

A GOOD MINISTER OF JESUS CHRIST (DAY 108 OF 365)

A GOOD MINISTER OF JESUS CHRIST
(Nuggets from 1 Timothy 4:6)

To be a GOOD MINISTER of Jesus, you must constantly call your attention to all that He has taught us in the scriptures. Jesus literally left a template for us to follow, and if you must succeed in your calling as a minister of the GOSPEL, then YOU MUST NOT BE ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL, you must be ready to LIVE IT AND PREACH IT.

This readiness is not just from the standpoint of acquiring information but also in delivering the information you possess. You need to be taught and mentored by GENUINE SERVANTS OF GOD whose lifestyles are not a reproach  to the kingdom, those who do not have questionable character and lead by example.

You should not stop there, study your Bible regularly without ceasing, and always invite the Holy Spirit to assist, teach and interpret all you read in the Scriptures; that way, you'd get to hear directly from the Spirit of God Himself who inspired the scriptures.

You must understand that the eternal destinies of the entire world  are not hanging on your abilities, because If they were, then we’d all be in deep trouble, there won't be any guarantee that anyone would get out of this world prepared for eternity in Heaven.

All God expects from you is to put in  your best and rely on Him always. God does not use perfect vessels, He uses imperfect people who are willing to be perfect in Him, and this can only be made possible if you learn on the job. The more you know about Jesus, the more you want to be like Him in every aspect of your life.

God is constantly using frail, weak, imperfect vessels to do things that are mighty and eternal, and by using you, He makes it clear that all glory goes to Him because no one has ever been saved by human intervention alone.

You must also remember that in the process of sharing the gospel, some are PLANTING, some are WATERING, and some are HARVESTING. Your role might be to just plant the seed, whilst the next person to encounter your proposed convert waters the seed, but it is God's role to give the increase.

A GOOD MINISTER OF JESUS CHRIST IS A SERVANT.

You must humble yourself to become a servant if you are truly a GOOD MINISTER representing Christ on earth; epitomizing the qualities and sacrificial life that Jesus led during His earthly ministry.

Being a SERVANT OF CHRIST should be seen as a CALLING, not a BURDEN. The goal is to lead others to Christ through your service, not necessarily words all the time. Your actions can point someone to Jesus.

VAIN WORSHIPERS (DAY 107 OF 365)

VAIN WORSHIPERS
(Nuggets from Matthew 15:9)

To understand today's scripture, let's take a look at Isaiah 29:13:

"And the Lord said, For as much as these people draw near Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips but remove their hearts and minds far from Me, and their fear and reverence for Me are a commandment of men that is learned by repetition [without any thought as to the meaning]."

It is important to note that not everyone in the house of God has good intentions of WORSHIPING GOD as He recommends and deserves.

Many so-called Christians worship and honour God with just their lips while their hearts are very far away from God. God is not interested in lip service or pretentious reverence, because He knows those who worship Him in truth and in Spirit.

VAIN WORSHIPERS are those who are more interested in PROPAGATING and OBSERVING doctrines of men while neglecting the fear of God which is the bedrock of TRUE WORSHIP.

Their words and actions show clearly that they do not fear God. Worship is beyond lifting of hands or lifting up of voices to hallow the name of the Lord. Worship is beyond singing "Hallelujah, Hosanna" as part of liturgical activities; WORSHIP IS AN INNERMOST REVERENTIAL FEAR OF GOD THAT IS REFLECTED OUTWARDLY.

Observation of doctrines does not translate to doing God's will. Doctrines are made by men, and whilst observing them for the sake of orderliness and decorum in any local church community setting, it is important that you as a Christian do not make the mistake of putting the cart before the horse.

Whilst you obey and keep every doctrine and commandment of men, you must also prioritize obeying God's injunctions and living a Holy life which is paramount.

VAIN WORSHIPERS do not strike a balance, they obey men and disobey God. They please men and displease God; they obey ceremonial ordinances of men but their hearts are far away from God.

VAIN WORSHIPERS idolize men and worship their fellow mortal more than they worship God. They are men-pleasers, they are bootlickers, worshiping those in authority in God's house but neglecting Jesus Christ the Head of the Church, because the church is His body.

God does not accept the worship of VAIN PEOPLE. Such worship is an abomination to Him. He is looking for SINCERE SEEKERS, SINCERE WORSHIPERS, those who understand that He is a SPIRIT and that He demands and deserves TRUE WORSHIP.

REFRAIN FROM EVERY VAIN WORSHIP, REPENT FROM EVERY FORM OF IDOLATRY AND ELECT TO  SEEK GOD AND WORSHIP HIM TRULY FORTHWITH.

THE FOOLISHNESS OF PREACHING - WHAT A PARADOX! (DAY 106 OF 365)

THE FOOLISHNESS OF PREACHING - WHAT A PARADOX!
(Nuggets from 1 Corinthians 1:21)

Today's verse highlights a paradox, such that showcases the human perspective and how myopic it is, as compared to the things of the Spirit viewed from the lens of a person whose eyes of understanding have been enlightened.

It is so unfortunate that the world by its wisdom (human/earthly) has failed to attain a knowledge of God in His wisdom which is displayed in creation and through the death of His only begotten son, Jesus.

This provision made by God on the cross is seen and called FOOLISHNESS by those who have chosen ETERNAL DAMNATION, but to those who believe, SALVATION becomes their portion.

God uses the 'FOOLISH THINGS' to confound the wise.

The FOOLISHNESS OF PREACHING here wasn't implying that the GOSPEL IS FOOLISH, but because the things of God and issues pertaining to the Kingdom of God are like FOOLISHNESS to the people of this world, for they cannot understand it.

This was an epistle to the Corinthian church, and at that time, the Greeks were dedicated to a philosophical approach to life, and usually prided themselves in their ability to solve the problems of life by human reasoning and worldly philosophy alone. Their views were opposed to the GOSPEL which Apostle Paul brought their way, and it was necessary for Paul to show the superiority of the GOSPEL.

It is, however, noteworthy that Apostle Paul did not condemn wisdom per se, he condemned the display and the vain exhibition of learning that was so characteristic of the Corinthians.

The point he was trying to make was that Philosophy is powerless to save one individual, but THE GOSPEL, once BELIEVED and OBEYED, can save the world.

The GOSPEL is God's message concerning the cross, the teaching which attributes salvation to the atonement which our Lord made on the cross. This is what the world regards as FOOLISH and, because they will not accept it, they are PERISHING. Whilst some reject the GOSPEL, others, because they regard it as God's way of giving men a lifeline, have accepted it, and are SAVED.

The gospel is "the power of God," (Romans 1:16) because it is God's only instrument through which SALVATION can be appropriated. (Acts 4:12; John 14:6). God's plan, through the gospel, revealed the FOOLISHNESS and EMPTINESS of these philosophical systems.

Apostle Paul referred to "the foolishness of preaching," not to say that the preaching of the cross is foolish in and of itself, but to point out that what men thought of the gospel in that they regarded it as foolishness, was in fact, actually God's way of saving the world from sin!

SALVATION comes by no other means but the FOOLISHNESS OF PREACHING; how much do you rate God's word? Your lifestyle and words would answer this question.

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL (DAY 105 OF 365)

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL
(Nuggets from Mark 1:15)

To understand today's scripture better, let's have the Amplified version rendering:

Mark 1:15 AMPC
"And saying, The [appointed period of] time is fulfilled (completed), and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent (have a change of mind which issues in regret for past sins and in change of conduct for the better) and believe (trust in, rely on, and adhere to) the good news (the Gospel)."

The time appointed for the church age to wind up, and the Kingdom of God is at hand. Jesus Christ the Bridegroom is about to come for His church, the Bride, and there is need for everyone who is part of this universal body of Christ to prepare.

The first step is to ACKNOWLEDGE one's sins, REPENT, and then BELIEVE the Gospel message.

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “REPENT” is, ‘Metanoeō’ which means, “To change one's mind for better, heartily to amend with abhorrence of one's past sins.”

Repentance is a choice to turn away from sin, allowing God to wash your heart from the stains of the past and giving him the chance to transform you completely.

When you surrender to Christ, the old man dies and the new man comes alive. When you accept Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Savior, He gives you the power to tread over the stronghold of sin. When you are in Christ, it is your CHOICE to either SERVE SIN or to SURRENDER TO CHRIST.

When you are in Christ, God expects that you should decide to no longer cling to the sins, entanglements, and addictions of the past. When you repent and turn to God, He gives you the power, strength, and fortitude to overcome sin in every area of your life. When you are in Christ, He blots out your sins completely and He remembers them no more.

When you surrender your ways to Christ, it comes with self-denial because you no longer own yourself, your desires and passions now become subject to the will of God, and this is the essence of TRUE REPENTANCE.

The reason many Christians who claim they REPENTED end up falling back into sin is because they never surrendered fully in the first place; that was a partial repentance and it can never be counted as REPENTANCE.

The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Good News. Jesus literally took all of the things that you have ever thought, did, or wanted to do wrong upon His shoulders and rid you of the penalty of those wrongs. This is GOOD NEWS! The motivation He had for doing this was pure love for you? Not only has He done this for you, but for everyone on earth - past, present and future - who would believe in Him and what He has done.

This unimaginably great free gift ends with an eternal life in Heaven where Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour has gone to prepare a place for all those who take advantage of His sacrifice.

All Jesus asks of you is to believe in Him and what He has accomplished on our behalf, and you will get to spend the rest of your life in pursuit of His goodness, and then eternity in His presence.

I AM WITH THEE (DAY 104 OF 365)

I AM WITH THEE
(Nuggets from Genesis 28:15)

God promised and still promises His own people in Isaiah 43:2:
"When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

God is with you through the storm, He will not leave you. As you pass through the waters, God is with you. God will never leave you or forsake you. God is with you as you go through all the challenges and perplexities of life.

Don’t focus on the wind and waves of life, focus on God. Don’t focus on the storm, fix your focus on God. Let God lead you. He is right there with you.

The flood will not overtake you. He is your standard. He is your protection, comfort and shield. God will not allow you to sink. He is right there by your side. When God is for you, who can be against you?

The fire will not burn you. The fire will not destroy you. In fact, the fire will sharpen you. What the enemy meant for evil will not destroy you; the fire will not destroy you. God will keep you in the midst of every fiery trial.

In Daniel‬ ‭3:19 KJV, the king commanded that the fiery furnace was to be set seven times hotter for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. As they went into the fire they were bound, but God met them and loosed them in the midst of the furnace. They made a decision not to bow to the false image; they surrendered to God.

You must make the decision not to bow and worship things. Choose to worship God in TRUTH AND SINCERITY.

God met Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fire, God will also meet you in the fire. The fire did not destroy them. In fact, it drew the King’s attention. When the king saw that they were not touched nor scorched by the fire, but their bonds were loosed and their praise was not broken by the fire, the king was astonished.

Your fiery trial wasn’t meant to destroy you, it was meant to astonish the world and draw kings to Christ. So the question you should be asking is: Who are you drawing?

Let God use your testimony to astonish others and draw them close to Him. You were born for such a time as this. The fire will not burn you. Let the fire ignite a praise in you. God is with you and He is for you. Walk through the fire.

GOD IS NOT DONE WITH YOU; HE WILL NOT LEAVE YOU BECAUSE HE HAS PROMISED TO DO THAT WHICH HE HAS SPOKEN TO YOU OF; BELIEVE HIM AND RELAX!

BECOMING GOD'S OWN PEOPLE (DAY 103 OF 365)

BECOMING GOD'S OWN PEOPLE
(Nuggets from 1 Samuel 12:22)

Ephesians 1:11 says: "In Christ we too have been claimed as God's own possession, since we were predestined according to the one purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of His will."

Anyone in Christ is God's own. The man in Christ has been claimed by God as His possession. Do you see that? If you are in Christ, you are God's inheritance, and It is safe to say that everyone in Christ belongs to God; God owns and possesses you because the seal of God's ownership is upon you.

Take for instance, you go to the grocery store, you find a product you like, and you purchase it. On the product, there is always a seal that shows the manufacturer. You simply know where the product comes from and who made it. Every manufacturer knows that after producing a product you must place a seal on it that shows your ownership of it. That seal bears the manufacturer's identity and proof of ownership. So, it is with God. In Christ, He made us and put His seal on us to show that we belong to Him, and we are of Him. Everywhere we go we bear the mark that we are God's own people.

The Apostle John assures us saying "Ye are of God." (see 1 John 4:4). That's a mighty Revelation. We are of God. We proceed from God, and we bear His originality.

The seal upon us is the Holy Spirit.
God's own people are sealed with the precious Holy Ghost, the mark that they are God's own, and no other being can lay claim to them. Knowing this blessed truth, you can look at sickness, depression, and evil spirits and say "No, you can't claim me, I'm God's possession. I bear His mark. Do not trouble me." They will obey because according to the justice system of the Supreme Court of Heaven, you are God's own and no other has the right to lay claim to you.

GOD DOES NOT FORSAKE HIS OWN PEOPLE BECAUSE HIS NAME IS AT STAKE; HE WILL SETTLE YOU NOT BECAUSE YOU ASKED FOR IT, BUT BECAUSE HE HAS TO HONOUR HIS NAME.

GOD'S UNIVERSAL GOODNESS (DAY 102 OF 365)

GOD'S UNIVERSAL GOODNESS
(Nuggets from Matthew 5:45)

God is good to all His creation, irrespective of their age, color, status, race or religion. This is reflected in the equal privileges enjoyed by the entire human race: the air we breathe, the sunshine, and the rain that falls on all, both GOOD AND BAD.

God loves everyone in the world, both the good people and those who are evil. How do we know that? God is the provider, and He provides good in this way and countless other ways to all people.

Jesus has commanded His disciples to love their enemies and to pray for those who persecute them (Matthew 5:43–44). Now He gives one reason for doing so: this is to imitate God the Father, as earthly sons imitate their fathers. Jesus describes imitating the Father as a way to become one of His Sons.

God's goodness to everyone, no matter who they are, is seen in some parlance as "common grace." Jesus has described His disciples as the "light of the world" (Matthew 5:14–16). God is the source of the light in His people. Born-again believers are the tools with which He distributes His light into the spiritual darkness of the world. One of the ways God shows His light through us is when believers love their enemies the way God loves them.

The big picture in this is that nobody is beyond God's redemption by grace through faith in Christ.
As Believers, we can attract people to faith in Christ when we give good in exchange for evil, and when we pray for those who bring us pain.

If God could love all this way and be patient with us in spite of our excesses, we are all expected to do the same, and accommodate others,  always treating people with equity.

Your good deeds could be an attraction to them, who knows how many people you could possibly win over to the camp of the Lord just by showing a little LOVE and KINDNESS?

THE BLOOD OF JESUS SPEAKS BETTER THINGS (DAY 101 OF 365)

THE BLOOD OF JESUS SPEAKS BETTER THINGS
(Nuggets from Hebrews 12:24)

Abel's gruesome death followed an outcry for VENGEANCE. In Genesis 4.10, God asked Cain: "What hast thou done? This question was followed by a demand: "the  voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground." Abel demanded JUSTICE and VENGEANCE because he was innocent and didn't deserve to be killed; his blood was speaking continuously.

God responded to the voice of the blood of Abel by making Cain a fugitive, vagabond, and a wanderer; in addition, God told him that because the ground had received the blood of Abel, the ground would cease to yield for Cain.

Cain shed the blood of Abel for no justified reason, but out of JEALOUSY.

God couldn't imagine his own creation perishing ultimately in the lake of Fire, and this was what made Him send His only begotten son to die on the cross and have his blood shed for all.

Unlike the Blood of Abel that was crying out for Justice and Vengeance, the Blood of Jesus was speaking MERCY, FORGIVENESS and JUSTIFICATION.

The enemy’s greatest weapon is accusation, reminding you of your sins, failures, and mistakes. But the Blood of Jesus speaks louder than every accusation. It testifies before the throne of God that you are forgiven, cleansed, and justified.

The blood doesn’t cover sin; it erases it from the record. Satan has no evidence against you because the blood has wiped it all away.
We didn't have to plead or request that Jesus should die for us, but He did, not minding that we didn't deserve it.

Whenever the enemy whispers CONDEMNATION, respond by referring him to the Blood of Jesus which speaks better things than that of Abel.

The Blood of Jesus silences every other voice of condemnation and accusation and proclaims your freedom in Christ who is the mediator of the new covenant.

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE BLOOD TODAY AND IT WILL AVAIL FOR YOU.

IF LUCIFER COULD FALL...(DAY 100 OF 365)

IF LUCIFER COULD FALL...
(Nuggets from Isaiah 14:12)

The story of Lucifer is such that every SERIOUS BELIEVER should not forget in a haste because it shows clearly how God has given every creature of His the power of choice, both humans and angels alike.

Prior to the fall, Lucifer who is also known as satan was described as the most MAGNIFICENT, WISE, and BEAUTIFUL of all God’s ANGELIC creations, holding a high-ranking position as an "ANOINTED CHERUB". He was known as the "MORNING STAR" or "LIGHT-BRINGER," he was considered the seal of perfection, radiating brilliance and, according to tradition, leading worship or guarding God's throne.

His fall was as a result of extreme pride, as he became obsessed with his own beauty and power. This led to a desire to elevate himself above God, His creator and maker - REBELLION.

Lucifer was once loyal to God, serving and carrying out his celestial duties in OBEDIENCE and RIGHTEOUSNESS, but the moment he lost focus on the CREATOR and switched his attention to himself, he lost it.

We mortals have this tendency and natural instinct of 'SELF-LOVE' and 'SELF-ADMIRATION'. This was the undoing of Lucifer, because this self-love cultivated pride in him, and it didn't just happen spontaneously, HE NURSED THIS AMBITION

Whilst he served God as the covering cherub, his mind played games on him and he was lost in imaginations that would never see the light of day - desiring to be like His maker, and overthrowing God; what a STUPID AMBITION!

He paid dearly for it, lost his status, got expelled and got eternally disconnected from God and destined for PERPETUAL DOOM IN THE LAKE OF FIRE.

What a twist of fate!
He started well but he will definitely not end well.

This is the case with so many Christians today. Whilst they serve in the courts and vineyard of the Lord, they nurse selfish ambitions, forgetting the case of Lucifer and failing to learn from him.

Some would argue out of ignorance that if Heaven was truly a perfect place, how could Lucifer have harboured pride there. We all know in part, and rather than looking for what is not lost, it is imperative you look inward and allow God's word to search you.

God does not and will never tolerate pride. The same pride that led to the expulsion of Lucifer from Heaven is the greatest undoing of many Christians today, and will DENY MULTITUDES of church-goers a place with God in ETERNITY.

Avoid Pride, HUMBLE YOURSELF and do not participate in any act of REBELLION in the house of God, at school, your workplace, or wherever you find yourself.

Those who exhibit pride and plot the downfall of others are agents of satan and their eternal destination will be the same as their master's, but this is not God's will for anyone created in His image.

IF LUCIFER COULD FALL, despite his closeness to God;
IF JUDAS COULD FALL, despite his closeness to Jesus;
IF SAMSON COULD FALL, despite his anointing and divine strength,
IF GREAT MEN OF GOD in the Bible days and in this present dispensation COULD FALL,

WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU ARE NOT VULNERABLE?

WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU ARE NOT THE NEXT PRIME TARGET OF THE DEVIL?

THE WORD OF GOD, AN OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE WEAPON (DAY 99 OF 365)

THE WORD OF GOD, AN OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE WEAPON
(Nuggets from Ephesians 6:17)

Every TRUE CHILD OF GOD is on a BATTLEFIELD, a life-long combat that gets more intense by the day.
The greatest BATTLEFIELD any human on earth will ever step into, is the BATTLE OF THE MIND.

Knowing and remembering that you are saved is a crucial part of being and acting like someone who is saved. It locks in your identity in Christ on a mental level. Remembering how you gained salvation and what it means to be saved by the Blood of Jesus Christ can impact your decisions and deeds daily. No wonder Paul likened the headgear of God’s armor to the SALVATION that RENEWS our MINDS and PROTECTS our THOUGHT-LIFE.

Along with this protection of our minds, we are also given the weapon to wage our war with, the Word of God, and this is the power-glove that packs a punch like no other. It’s the double-edged sword that never gets blunt, splitting joint and marrow, even soul and spirit (Hebrews 4:12).

When you face trials and temptations, the initial battle is always in your mind.

Do I give up, or do I allow negativity to get the better of me?
Do I give in, and entertain this evil desire further in my thoughts?

Adam and Eve faced temptation first and failed, not standing on God’s command nor promise. But then Jesus faced temptation just like we do, maybe even more so, but understanding and applying the Scriptures correctly made Him victorious (Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13; Hebrews 4:15-16).

As you enter each new day, remembering your salvation which was made possible through Jesus, you can ask His cleansing and discerning power to cover your mind. As you read and study the Scripture, remembering your weapon of discernment,  you can ask the Holy Spirit to download what you learn to your memory and give you the understanding of correct application, and like the gear of modern tactical units, your spiritual helmet is also fitted with night vision goggles, allowing you to see clearly even when surrounded by darkness, and your weapons are fitted with spiritual sights to lock in and keep track of your targets, even in difficult and disturbing situations.

The Word of God is an OFFENSIVE WEAPON (The Sword) which you should wield at every given time you are faced with any external aggression or attack, and also a DEFENSIVE WEAPON (The Helmet) which protects your head, mind, brain, thinking faculty/thought realm and helps you think in the right direction and not get haunted down on the battlefield.

Renew your mind, Refocus your aim, and Reload your spiritual arsenal. Know the Word of God, meditate on it regularly, and let the Holy Spirit direct your thoughts. Put your sights on and take aim with Jesus, you will never miss your shot!

CLEANSING POWER OF THE WORD (DAY 98 OF 365)

CLEANSING POWER OF THE WORD
(Nuggets from John 15:3)

John 17:17 emphasizes progressive SANCTIFICATION through God's truth which sets a believer apart. Jesus prayed for the sanctification of His disciples, that God should separate them from the world by His truth.

At the point of CONVERSION, a believer received an IMPUTED RIGHTEOUSNESS because the blood of Jesus has washed you clean and the righteousness you now have is the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS.

This status of RIGHTEOUSNESS can be lost if not safeguarded, hence the need for a second touch - SANCTIFICATION.

SANCTIFICATION IS A PROGRESSIVE PROCESS through which a believer patterns his/her life  to be conformed to the image of Christ. The end result is BECOMING LIKE JESUS CHRIST.

SANCTIFICATION entails putting off old habits, properties of satan, works of the flesh, and every vice that characterizes a carnal person, and putting on the Christ-like qualities and virtues encapsulated in the fruit of the Spirit.

SANCTIFICATION continues till the point of death or rapture, when your RIGHTEOUSNESS and HOLINESS becomes perfected.

Continuous cleansing and purification in this life can only be made possible through the CLEANSING BY THE WORD OF GOD.

True daily sanctification in this life comes through the ministry of the Word of God. Jesus told His disciples, “Now are you clean through the word which I have spoken unto you” In John 15:3.

As you navigate through the hurdles of this life, you need the COMPASS of God's word, not just for DIRECTION, but for SANCTIFICATION, to keep you CLEAN, PURE and SPOTLESS before God, qualified and fit to meet Him at the end.

THE SANCTIFIED CHURCH (DAY 97 OF 365)

THE SANCTIFIED CHURCH
(Nuggets from Ephesians 5:26)

As the Israelites were about to enter the Promised Land, God gave them a clear instruction: “BE YE HOLY”. Before crossing the Jordan River, before the walls of Jericho fell, the priority was not military strategy, but INNER PURIFICATION. The greatest obstacle was not the external enemy, but the spiritual condition of the people.

Sanctification is much more than a religious word. It is a radical setting apart for God; It is accepting that the Holy Spirit purifies our thoughts, words, attitudes, and motivations. Jesus said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." (Matthew 5:8). Without HOLINESS, it would be virtually impossible to experience God's Glory.

Those who are united to Christ and effectually called and regenerated have a new heart and a new spirit created in them through the power of Christ’s death and resurrection. They are also further sanctified, personally, through the same power, by his Word and Spirit dwelling in them. The dominion of the whole body of sin is destroyed, and the various evil desires that arise from it are weakened the more by the day and put to death.

This process of being made Holy takes a lifetime as we die to sin and self and participate in the habits of grace by the power of the Holy Spirit. God's desire is that the church, the UNIVERSAL BODY OF CHRIST progressively becomes HOLY and freed not only from the penalty but also the power of sin.

The church that Jesus Christ our Lord is coming for on the day of Rapture is a church that is no longer slaves to sin in the flesh but slaves to righteousness by the grace of God.

Every member of this UNIVERSAL BODY OF CHRIST must guard their SANCTIFICATION AND STATUS OF PURITY JEALOUSLY, maintaining HOLINESS every blessed day through constant washing and cleansing by God's word.

SALVATION SHOULD NOT BE YOUR FINAL DESTINATION; STEP UP, SEEK SANCTIFICATION AND GET INDUCTED INTO THE UNIVERSAL CHURCH.

NO CONDEMNATION (DAY 96 OF 365)

NO CONDEMNATION
(Nuggets from 1 John 3:21)

Have you ever felt condemned, and unworthy of God's love and forgiveness? Condemnation in this context is not referring to sinners who are not yet ready to give their lives to Christ, but BELIEVERS who know the truth, hear the truth and choose to do otherwise.

Apostle Paul in Romans 8 verse 1 wrote:
"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH, BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT."

The clause here is "WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH"..

This means that not everyone who is in Christ Jesus walks in the Spirit; a vast majority of 'Christians' walk after the flesh, fulfilling the lusts thereof.

CONDEMNATION can occur when a sinner truly repents and it comes in form of whispers from the devil, telling the individual that his or her sins are still unforgiven, as though God did not attend to their plea for mercy, bringing feelings of guilt, shame, and hopelessness, making you believe you're unworthy of His love and forgiveness.

This is not the condemnation in question.. Condemnation in our context today is the pricking of the heart that comes with UNCONFESSED SINS, SECRET SINS, FAKE LIFESTYLE, and all forms of sinful activities that a supposed child of God indulges in.

CONDEMNATION comes with GUILT, and until you get to the point where you are no longer feeling condemned, you cannot approach God with confidence.

So, how can you overcome the hindrance of condemnation? The first step is to remember that God's love and forgiveness are always available. No matter what you've done or how you feel, He is always ready to welcome you back with open arms.

God is calling you to live a life of SINCERITY, avoid every form of HYPOCRISY, be a GENUINE CHRISTIAN in the public spaces and in your secret place, and you will never experience CONDEMNATION.

WHO ARE THE REAL BRETHREN? (DAY 95 OF 365)

WHO ARE THE REAL BRETHREN?
(Nuggets from Luke 8:21)

Everyone claims to be a CHRISTIAN and a CHILD OF GOD, but only few understand what it really means and have earned that status.

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “hear(s)” is ‘akouō’ which means “to be endowed with the faculty of hearing, not deaf, to hear, to attend to, consider what is or has been said, to understand, perceive the sense of what is said, to perceive by the ear what is announced in one's presence, to get by hearing, learn a thing, comes to one's ears, to find out, to give ear to a teaching or to a teacher, to comprehend, or to understand.”

Today's verse enjoins you to CHOOSE to HEAR God’s Word. Choose to give your ear to His TEACHINGS and His way of doing things. Choose to COMPREHEND, UNDERSTAND, and DIGEST His Word daily.

His Word is LIFE, ALIVE, ACTIVE, and OPERATIVE. God’s Word will lead and light your path when you CHOOSE to hear it continually and do what He says.

It's a clarion call to surrender to, listen to, and obey God’s voice. Open your ears, CHOOSE to listen to what God has to say, let His Word lead and guide your life. Choose to believe, trust, rely, and cling to Christ. Trust His way of doing things.

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” (James 1:22 KJV)

Be doers of the Word. While it is important to hear, understand, and comprehend God’s Word, it is also critical to EXECUTE and OBEY His Word. Hear, honor, and obey His Word.

HEARING is fundamental, but EXECUTION is critical. OBEY GOD'S WORD and put it into practice in every area of your life.

James 2:17 (KJV) declares, “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”  Apply your works to your faith by living out the precepts found in His Word. Stay focused and obey His voice consistently.

KEEPING GOD'S WORD (1 JOHN 2:5)

KEEPING GOD'S WORD
(Nuggets from 1 John 2:5)

We often say (or hear) that we want to know God’s will for our lives.

But how often do we think about doing God’s will? Is knowing the same as doing?

We’d be deceiving ourselves if we thought so. There’s a bridge that needs to be crossed between these two points and it’s called: obedience.

God’s will is not hidden from us. His perfect law is revealed in the Scriptures that millions of people own today and can access from around the globe. He speaks to us and urges us to heed this law. But how often do we walk away from it, satisfied with the new insights we’ve gleaned from our study of the Bible, but fail to make any tangible changes to our lives?

The Word of God acts like a mirror to our true selves. It reflects what we look like from the inside. It reveals to us the true condition of our hearts, and tells us what we need to do to realign it to God’s heart. It doesn't matter how much we’ve heard or understood; what matters is that we obey what we’ve heard.

God expects you as a person to be someone who not only listens to and understands His word, but also lives it out, always seeing your spiritual imperfections in the light of God’s word, and as a result, taking actual practical steps to obey God’s word. Always actively listening to and doing God's word continuously, and in doing so, you shall be blessed.

Apostle James says that we are to be doers of the word and not hearers only. It is in doing God's word that His Love becomes perfected in you as a person, as a living proof that you are TRULY IN HIM.

EXAMINE YOUR LIFE AND ACT ON THE TRUTHS YOU HEAR; LIVE IT OUT PRACTICALLY.

THE LORD LOVES THE RIGHTEOUS (DAY 93 0F 365)

THE LORD LOVES THE RIGHTEOUS
(Nuggets from Psalm 146:8)

RIGHTEOUSNESS endears you to God. It is a commitment you make in appreciation for the death of His son Jesus on the cross of Calvary for your sake.

Living a righteous life is like swimming against the current, though not easy, but it is possible.

In 1st John 4, verses 8 & 16, Apostle John defines God’s love by stating very simply and powerfully, that, God is love. He is saying, God doesn’t just have love, He is love Himself.

Our human love is often selfish because we love someone because of something in that person that meets our need for affection or affirmation or procreation. So, our modern ideas about love are often very self-serving and self-focused.

God loves us, however, not because of something in us that meets His need. He loves us to meet our need for love. Our ideas and our experience of human love are therefore the opposite of God’s love because God’s love is completely unconditional and unmotivated; it springs spontaneously out of His divine nature of unconditional love.

He loved us, and that was why He sent His son to die for you and I. Jesus continued with this love, as He went about doing good, healing the blind, and diverse kinds of sick and maimed folks. All these were made possible through this Love.

God’s selfless and self-giving love for us means that, no matter what happens to us, no matter how much we may not understand it, God has allowed it to happen because it has passed the test of His love for us.

If God could love sinners to the point of offering His son as a sacrifice, you can now imagine the extent of love He has for those who dedicate their lives on earth to please Him in RIGHTEOUSNESS.

WINNING SOULS INTO GOD'S KINGDOM (DAY 92 0F 365)

WINNING SOULS INTO GOD'S KINGDOM
(Nuggets from Acts 2:41)

The last command of Jesus before ascending to heaven wasn’t just for His disciples, it was for all of us.
The GREAT COMMISSION isn’t a suggestion; it’s a CALL TO ACTION. Sharing your faith can feel intimidating. You start asking yourself questions like:
What if they reject me?
What if I don’t have the answers?

But the truth is: God doesn’t expect you to have all the answers, He just wants you to be willing. The Holy Spirit will equip you and give you the words you need when the time comes (Luke 12:12).

You must remember that sharing the Gospel isn’t about winning arguments; it’s about introducing people to the love and grace of Jesus.

When you live out the Great Commission, you’re part of something much bigger than yourself. You’re helping to expand God’s kingdom, one soul at a time. And every time you step out in faith, God is with you, guiding and empowering you.

Matthew 28:19-20 is known as the Great Commission. It was Jesus’ final instruction to His disciples after His resurrection, emphasizing the global nature of the Gospel and the responsibility of His followers to carry His message to the ends of the earth.

When you preach the Gospel with adequate preparation, the results are usually amazing. The Gospel is not something that should be done casually or taken lightly.

Prayerfully commit yourself into the hands of God and tell the Holy Spirit to put the right words in your mouth, and convict them after you must have done your part by sowing the seed of the Gospel.

After the Pentecost, the first outing of the Apostles yielded 3000 souls; this was a massive win for the Kingdom of God.

Our Lord Jesus Christ handed over the baton to his 12 disciples, and the disciples expanded the ministry to 120 in the upper room on the day of PENTECOST; Now the baton has been handed over to you and I to also take up this responsibility of winning souls and expanding the Kingdom of God.

YOU SHALL DO GREATER WORKS (DAY 91 OF 365)

YOU SHALL DO GREATER WORKS
(Nuggets from John 14:12)

The ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ was confined to ISRAEL, His own people, but they ended up rejecting Him because they never knew He was the Messiah they had long awaited.

He promised his disciples that THE COMFORTER WOULD COME, the Holy Spirit who was going to empower them for the task ahead. The promise was fulfilled right in the upper room on the day of PENTECOST, and this time around, the Gospel would go beyond the Jewish nation, the Gentiles now had a chance to receive the GOOD NEWS.

The Apostles are done with their assignment, and in this dispensation, you and I are the ones to pick up from where they left off.

Jesus already pre-informed us that WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL DO GREATER WORKS THAN HE DID. Jesus ministered to Israelites only, but now you can reach out to the whole world.

Before returning to heaven, Jesus said His followers would do “even greater things” than He did, and this was after He had turned water into wine, healed the sick and disabled, made the blind see, made the lame walk, healed the deaf and dumb, resurrected the dead, and so much more; Talk about setting the bar sky-high!

You might be thinking, “Yeah, sure,” or “Who, me?” But the thing is, God always keeps His word (Psalm 145:13b). If He says you’ll do great things, you will… just maybe not always in the ways you expect.

Every follower of Jesus has been called by God to BE MORE and DO MORE. So, let’s jump headfirst into that promise, not just hoping it’s true, but EXPECTING and BELIEVING it is!

You have to believe that God will work in and through your life in EXTRAORDINARY ways even when you feel ORDINARY.

God has called you to do greater works, which means that you must do exploits that will surpass what Jesus Christ our saviour did during His earthly ministry.

The GREATEST of these works is SOUL-WINNING; be an instrument and a means of SALVATION to dying souls.

IT'S TIME TO GET TO WORK!

THE DANGERS OF RETURNING TO SIN (DAY 90 OF 365)

THE DANGERS OF RETURNING TO SIN
(Nuggets from Ezekiel 18:24)

It's so disturbing how many preachers have twisted the scriptures and hoodwinked CARELESS CHRISTIAN into believing the HERETIC DOCTRINE OF ETERNAL SECURITY.

This is one heresy too many!
They preach that once someone becomes born again, they will remain born again till death, and even if they commit sin after being born again, it will not count as sin because they are saved already. It further follows that if the person commits sin after being born again, even if they die in that sin, they won't go to Hell, that they will make it to Heaven because it is the spirit that got born again and whatever the flesh does cannot affect their eternal destination.

If this is not satan's strategy to trick multitudes and qualify them for eternal doom in hell, then tell me what it is.

When a RIGHTEOUS person decides to go back to the sinful lifestyle that was supposedly forsaken at salvation, it only means one thing: THERE WAS NO TRUE REPENTANCE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

This does not rule out the fact that temptations can arise, but rather than falling for it, God expects you to FIGHT IT,  RESIST IT and SAFEGUARD YOUR PRECIOUS SOUL.

RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU!

The GRACE you need to overcome is readily available if only you are willing to resist and stay strong.

If you have been a RIGHTEOUS person for 20 years and suddenly fall into sin, all your 20 years of RIGHTEOUSNESS will be forgotten and wiped away from God's records, and God will never make references your righteous deeds again, and your past records of righteous living can never absolve you for the sins you just committed.

You didn't come this far to jettison your efforts just because of some transient pleasure of sin.

This is not a risk worth taking; your PRECIOUS SOUL DESERVES BETTER.

70 years of RIGHTEOUSNESS cannot cancel 5 minutes of SIN when you face God on Judgment day. Not everyone would be privileged to have the dying minute opportunity the robber who was crucified beside Jesus had on the cross.

It is DANGEROUS to return to SIN after God has saved you; DON'T TAKE THAT RISK!

THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH (DAY 89 OF 365)

THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH
(Nuggets from Hebrews 10:38)

The JUST is a RIGHTEOUS person, someone who has chosen to live uprightly, eschewing evil and evil doers.

Today's scripture emphasizes the POWER OF FAITH.

FAITH IS A CURRENCY with which God's children can access anything they need in this life.

The poorest man on the earth is not the man without money but the man without FAITH. As a currency, you have to SPEND FAITH for it to work! GROWING your FAITH is the way to grow SPIRITUALLY; THE JUST SHALL GROW BY FAITH!

When you pick up the Word of God, digest it, meditate on it, internalize and personalize it by applying His Word to your life daily, God reveals His Word to you in an intimate and personal way.

The JUST are those in right standing with God, and they shall continually live by faith, confidence, trust and total reliance in God.

"But if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in Him."
Drawing back here means falling into despair and despondency, an indication of LACK OF TRUST AND CONFIDENCE IN GOD.

If you can't trust God in your darkest moments, it will also be difficult to stay FAITHFUL to Him when you have everything you need, because then, God will be just an OPTION.

Faith is not dictated by what we see but by what God has spoken. Many times, our natural eyes deceive us, making circumstances seem impossible. But FAITH calls us to look beyond our present reality and trust in God’s promises. Abraham had to believe in the promise of a son despite his old age (Romans 4:18-21). Likewise, we must train our hearts to trust that God’s plans will come to pass, even when they seem delayed.

FOOD CAN BE DANGEROUS (DAY 88 OF 365)

FOOD CAN BE DANGEROUS
(Nuggets from Proverbs 23:6)

The story of Daniel is a typical case study for today's scripture.

In Daniel 1:8, it says:

"But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself."

Daniel, though in exile, could have decided to blend and enjoy all the dainties in the palace of King Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon, but HE DISCIPLINED HIMSELF and controlled his appetite.

Food can be dangerous.
For the moment, forget nutrition, your diet, gluttony, or your budget. Food can be seductive in the hands of the wrong person. Someone may use food to take advantage of you by breaking down your inhibitions and reservations. So it is wise to know a host’s motives, if a questionable person invites you to a meal.

King Solomon warned about the lifestyle of the rich in Proverbs 23:1-3. If a ruler invites a man to a meal who loves good food, he had better put a knife to his throat, because the enticement of luxurious dining will be great. He then warned about the vanity of riches, because the temptation of an extravagant lifestyle can be destructive (Pr 23:4-5).

In verses 6 to 8, Solomon shifted his warning away from the fine food or wealth itself to the MOTIVES and INTENTIONS of the person offering the bread (meal). Both luxurious lifestyles and deceitful hospitality are to be avoided.

You should reject invitations offered to you to come and dine with an evil person, who has wicked ambitions motivating his offer to you, other than your pleasure and prosperity.

Who is one with an evil eye?
A seducer who uses food to get a victim to act against their conscience.

Sexual seduction often includes food. Solomon’s description of an adulteress in Proverbs 7, enticing a young man included an offer of fine dining on choice cuts from her peace offerings. Whoremongers speak of “wining and dining” women. Many girls and women have been led down the primrose path to a sinful bed through a restaurant, and some careless mothers even tell daughters that the fastest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.
What a deception!

Lobbyists and politicians can be as manipulative with food as any whore or whoremonger, as we are about to enter the campaign season, you can see them distributing bags of rice and noodles to IGNORANT MASSES. They use devilish wisdom to woo gullible ones into acquiescence. Many deals have been closed without full disclosure or agreement through the corrupting effect of fine food and flattering conversation.

Wise men identify a man’s motives and determine if a meal can be justified or not. If there is much at stake and the inviting party has evil or questionable ethics or ambitions, the invitation should be declined.

Such hospitality could be dangerous. You should ignore the venue, the participants, the menu, or any other attractive feature of the event. Evil communications corrupt good manners, and a fine meal can accelerate the corruption.

YOU NEED TO CONTROL YOUR APPETITE AND BE CAREFUL NOT TO BE TRAPPED WITH FOOD.

LAYING UP TREASURES IN HEAVEN (DAY 87 OF 365)

LAYING UP TREASURES IN HEAVEN
(Nuggets from Luke 12:21)

A TREASURY is a place INVALUABLE and PRECIOUS things are collected and laid up, a RECEPTACLE in which valuables are kept, a STOREHOUSE, a REPOSITORY.

In Matthew 6:21, Jesus said:
“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also," Where your TREASURY is, there will your heart be also..

No one keeps PRECIOUS, INVALUABLE and INESTIMABLE ASSETS carelessly and forgets about them. If something is PRECIOUS to you, it becomes your sleeping and waking thought; your heart goes there every second.

Now comes the BIG QUESTION:
What is in the TREASURY of your HEART?

What have you stored up in the repository of your heart?

Do you value the Word of God more than the things of this world?

Who do you treasure?
What do you treasure?
Do you honor and treasure the Principles and Precepts of God more than the treasures of this world?

In today's scripture, Jesus was talking about the PARABLE OF THE RICH FOOL, a very wealthy man whose land produced an abundant harvest, and out of pride resorted to thinking about how to expand and build bigger barns to store his farm produce and plan for a ROSY LIFE. However, God called him a FOOL, declaring that his life would end that very night and questioned who would inherit his stored wealth when he was no more.

The parable serves as a warning against GREED and the FOOLISHNESS of relying on MATERIAL RICHES instead of being “rich toward God,” emphasizing that true life and security are not found in possessions but in A RIGHT RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

The Parable of the Rich Fool reminds us what a life of true wisdom is. It’s not in the ABUNDANCE OF WEALTH, but in the RICHNESS of your PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

To be rich toward oneself and poor toward God is a terrible ending.
The rich fool was rich toward himself, he was myopic because he felt he had arrived, and that his wealth could afford him anything he wanted, he felt he had need of nothing else, but to enjoy his amassed resources.

WHAT A POOR SOUL HE WAS!!

God is inviting you today to flip your current understanding of this world’s values and interpret the world the way that He wants you to see it. Everything that the Rich Fool was obsessed with ended up being MEANINGLESS AND USELESS.

SURRENDER YOUR LIFE, HEART, SOUL, MIND, BODY, THOUGHTS, WILL, AND EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU TO GOD UNRESERVEDLY.
