(Nuggets from 1 John 4:10)
God manifested His love towards us even when he knew clearly that we mortals are ungrateful rebels, He still went ahead to send His ONLY begotten son to pay for the sins He never committed, shedding His PRECIOUS, SPOTLESS blood for us.
It is quite STRANGE and UNBELIEVABLE that God could love IMPURE, VAIN, VILE, and UNWORTHY DUST and ASHES!
God broke protocols because of His son Jesus Christ. He went beyond limits to save mankind.
This LOVE is INCOMPARABLE, offering His son as a SACRIFICE to die that we might live.
God loved us when we had no love for him, when we lay in our guilt and misery, when we were undeserving, polluted, and unclean. He didn't give up on you as a person because He had a perfect plan for your redemption.
God sent His son, Jesus to become the PROPITIATION (ATONING SACRIFICE) for our sins. It is the CROSS that reveals the LOVE OF GOD; it is the means of propitiation that pours the light of that blessed conviction into the hearts of men.
Jesus became our SUBSTITUTE and God made this possible, so why should you neglect this INESTIMABLE LOVE? The LOVE of God is antecedent to the love we profess for Him because even in our lowest estate, even in our worst state, He deemed us worthy of His mercies.
Sadly, many 'Christians' take this LOVE for granted by continuing in sin even after claiming they have handed their lives over to Jesus.
The moment you give your life to Christ TRULY, you no longer have power or control over your WORDS, ACTIONS, THOUGHTS, COMPANY and HABITS. Everything you do at this point is subject to the will of God.
If your will has not been surrendered to God yet, JESUS HAS NOT YET BECOME THE BISHOP and SHEPHERD OF YOUR SOUL.
Let this LOVE PROPEL you to develop passion for dying souls because the same GRACE AND MERCY that found you can also find them.
EVERY SINNER IS A POTENTIAL SAINT, but unfortunately, not all will come to the knowledge of this truth:
Hosea 4:6A
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge;"
THE LOVE OF GOD IS IMMEASURABLE, AND THE BEST WAY TO RECIPROCATE IT IS BY SURRENDERING TO HIM TOTALLY WITHOUT RESERVATION.
This is HOLINESS CHALLENGE
