(Nuggets from Jeremiah 33:10A, 11A)
Happy New Year Dear Friends,
Welcome to the year 2026! ✨
As a matter of emphasis, God elaborated the promise of restoration to the Israelites, assuring them that their seemingly hopeless condition would be turned into joy.
What a transition, FROM DESOLATION TO RESTORATION.
Jerusalem had fallen silent under Babylonian siege, “a desolation, without man or beast” (Jeremiah 33:10). In verse 11 God promises the literal return of lively, everyday sounds; the same joyful sounds He once removed in judgment (Jeremiah 7:34; 25:10), proving that His mercy always prevails.
Today's verse paints a vivid, literal picture of post-exile Jerusalem bursting with life; joyful streets, festive weddings, and thankful worshipers. Each sound is a TESTAMENT that the God whose mercies endure forever has REVERSED JUDGMENT, RESTORED FELLOWSHIP, and GUARANTEED a BRIGHTER FUTURE.
This is an assurance that because the Lord is good, every season of silence will ultimately give way to songs of praise under His faithful hand.
No matter how perplexed, devastated or battered you are presently, God can turn it around and give you BEAUTY FOR ASHES.
Every trouble, heartache, shame, disgrace and unsavory situation you experienced in 2025 will never repeat again in 2026.
For every SHAME you have experienced, God will give you FAME;
For every CROSS you have borne, God will give you a CROWN;
For every PAIN you went through, you will experience GAIN;
2026 will be your BEST YEAR YET, because God is set to compensate you for all the losses of yesteryears.
"For the LORD will comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; He will make her wilderness like Eden and her desert like the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and melodious song."
Isaiah 51:3
As usual, you have a very important role to play for these blessings to materialize - LIVE A HOLY LIFE, always doing God's will.
SHOUT OF JOY AWAITS YOU THIS YEAR AND ONWARD.
