THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB
(Nuggets from Revelation 19:9)

The PASSOVER was celebrated by the Jews. The HOLY COMMUNION is being commemorated by followers of Jesus today, and then some day in eternity, pretty soon, we will celebrate at another table;  the BANQUET at the MARRIAGE SUPPER of the *BRIDEGROOM – Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.

In 1st Corinthians 11: 26, the Amplified version reads:
"For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are representing and signifying and proclaiming the fact of the Lord's death until He comes again."

The HOLY COMMUNION we partake in as Christians is not a CEREMONIAL THING, but an activity that should keep you sober and make you reflect on the reason you are a partaker of His flesh and blood. 

Why was His body lacerated, broken, and pierced for you?

Did Jesus go through all the torture and pain for you and I to continue in sin while GRACE ABOUNDS?

Do you really want to neglect this PRECIOUS BLOOD SHED ON YOUR BEHALF, and pretend like nothing happened?

Jesus invites you to His table to commune with Him in an intimate loving fellowship. At His table are seated many others like you and me, and that is why we celebrate Communion in 

One day we will be seated at another table: a huge banquet table for the marriage feast of the Lamb of God. We will be seated there as His bride, and we will be with Him forever.

Let us never take this table for granted or treat it lightly. It cost Jesus everything to give us a seat at the table. Let us partake of His table in a manner that honors our wonderful Savior.

BOLDNESS BY THE BLOOD
(Nuggets from Hebrews 10:19)

Prior to the death of Jesus on the cross of Calvary, sins were atoned for by the animal sacrifices which only COVERED the sins temporarily.

The fact that the sins were only COVERED was WORRISOME to God and DETRIMENTAL to man because such a SACRIFICE was not SUSTAINABLE.

Bulls, oxen, heifer and cattle would have gone extinct way long before Jesus Christ came into this world.
This was why God in His INFINITE LOVE made an INVALUABLE PROVISION, a SUSTAINABLE SACRIFICE - ONCE AND FOR ALL.

The VALUE of something is determined by the price in which someone would pay for it, and God paid the ultimate price FOR YOU!

Why would God pay that high a price for something He didn’t value? 
He wouldn’t. 

So, the BLOOD OF JESUS shed on the cross of Calvary is proof of the worth and value He places on you.
He paid the greatest price so that you would never have to question His love. He paid for you with His blood to bring you to Him, and now NOTHING can separate you from His Love. 
(Ephesians 2:13, Romans 8:38-39)

The BLOOD of Jesus has brought you right into the presence of God, and into a close, intimate fellowship with God the Father.

In the old testament, the high priest would enter the HOLY OF HOLIES to offer a sacrifice ONCE A YEAR, on the DAY OF ATONEMENT. He would need to pass through the veil which was a thick partition that separated men from the HOLY and SACRED PRESENCE OF GOD.

The High Priest in the old testament didn't have direct access to the Tabernacle unless it was time for atonement, and his legs were tied with a rope and a bell hanging on the helm of his garment to signal the people as to whether he was still alive or dead. In the event where the high priest enters the Tabernacle with sin, God would strike him dead, and the rope would be used to drag him out.

 IMAGINE THE TECHNICALITIES AND BOTTLENECKS THEY HAD TO PASS THROUGH TO ACCESS GOD'S PRESENCE!

But THANK GOD FOR CALVARY!
Jesus died and immediately, the wall of partition was broken; the veil that separated us from God's presence was abolished, because the BLOOD OF JESUS, a SPOTLESS BLOOD was shed.

This is why you can now have an UNHINDERED and UNBROKEN fellowship with God. The sin that separated us from Him has been completely paid for, removed, and washed away! 

The Blood gives you UNRESTRICTED ACCESS to the throne of His grace, to the Holy of Holies, to the very presence of God, at any time and in your time of need, by His blood.

 YOU CAN NOW APPROACH THE PRESENCE OF GOD WITH BOLDNESS BECAUSE THE BLOOD OF JESUS AVAILS FOR YOU, AND EVERY BARRIER HAS BEEN REMOVED PERMANENTLY!

SEEKING THE LORD WHOLEHEARTEDLY
(Nuggets from 2 Chronicles 15:2)

God doesn't use everyone.
The kind of person God uses is one who chooses to HONOR Him, not just outwardly, but from the heart. King Asa was known for doing what was GOOD and RIGHT in the eyes of the Lord, and God used Him and blessed him in return. 

Devotion to God doesn’t just flow from how you feel as an individual; It’s more than just a checkbox on your to-do list. Your devotion to God is about what you’re willing to lay down and what you’re willing to build up. King Asa’s heart was turned toward the Lord, and he didn’t settle for a commitment that was partial or casual. He got rid of everything that wasn't pleasant to God, such as idols, false worship, and wicked images, calling the people back to seeking God. 

That is the depth of commitment you need: a DEVOTION that is more than mere words, more than routines, more than good intentions, and more than morality.

 IF YOU FORSAKE THE LORD OR LEAVE HIM IN PURSUIT OF OTHER FRIVOLITIES, HE WILL LEAVE YOU TOO!

God directed Prophet Azariah to pass this serious message to King Asa, warning him and the entire people of Judah to never forsake the Lord, and at the same time letting them know that SEEKING THE LORD WHOLEHEARTEDLY COMES WITH GREAT REWARDS.

If you’ve ever felt distracted or divided in your walk with the Lord, you’re not alone. Life pulls at us in so many directions, often all at once. Academics, work, vocation, business, family, hobbies, habits, and pursuit of the MUNDANE can all start to crowd out God without you even realizing it. But if you want to be A VESSEL IN THE HANDS OF GOD, you’ve got to get serious about DISPOSING whatever is OCCUPYING THE SPACE OF GOD in your life. 

You must stop making excuses for why God is not your priority and make the needed changes right away; No more trying!

It’s time to do what is right!

The main choice before you is not between a good thing and God, as if choosing God means you won't have any fun. 

SERVING GOD IS NOT BORING, IT IS THE BEST LIFE EVER!

It is important to ALIGN YOUR LIFE in a way that places God at the center. Jesus taught us to seek Him first (primarily) (Matthew 6:33), and everything else will be added unto you.

When you desire God above anything else, you will begin to see everything in your life fall into place.

Is there anything you’ve allowed to get more of your attention than it should? Any area you’ve been holding back from the Lord? 
King Asa’s example reminds us that we need to tear down the idols and reorder our lives around God again. It’s worth it!

SEEK THE LORD WHOLEHEARTEDLY AND YOU WILL FIND HIM.

WHOSOEVER THIRSTS CAN COME
(Nuggets from John 7:37)

It was on the 8th day of the Feast of Tabernacles that Jesus gave this open invitation to all: IF ANY MAN IS THIRSTY, LET HIM COME UNTO ME, AND DRINK.

This call is not for everyone, though an open invitation; THOSE WHO ARE THIRSTY KNOW THEY ARE THIRSTY, and the only way you can quench your thirst at that moment is to drink water.

However, Jesus was not referring to LITERAL WATER here, He was referring to the WATER OF THE WORD, the same water He offered the SAMARITAN WOMAN at the well.

The first step is to ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR THIRST, irrespective of your age or status in life. You have possibly felt that thirst that shows a huge vacuum within you that is yet to be filled, that longing and desire that shows you still haven’t found what you’re looking for. 

If you must have your THIRST QUENCHED, you must be ready to PUT ASIDE EVERY INCONSEQUENTIAL NEED OR DESIRE, and FOCUS ON JESUS TO QUENCH YOUR THIRST AND FILL EVERY VOID IN YOU.

The world cannot satisfy your thirst, your earthly acquisitions, possessions, achievements and attainments in life can't quench it either. YOU NEED JESUS, WE ALL DO!

Jesus is inviting all who are thirsty to come to Him, come and drink this LIVING WATER that will never RUN DRY. Jesus is implying that all who need SALVATION should accept Him into their lives, and they will NEVER REMAIN THE SAME AGAIN.  

He said "come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." If you are laden with the heavy load of sin, Jesus is giving you an offering to surrender to Him today, He will pardon, cleanse, purge and grant you access to the living waters and you will never thirst again.

PURIFIED SOULS, LOVING WITH PURE HEARTS (DAY 49 OF 365)

PURIFIED SOULS, LOVING WITH PURE HEARTS
(Nuggets from 1 Peter 1:22)

A PURE HEART is a heart that is clean or purified by fire. It is a heart that loves from the right motives for the right things. It is about loving God solely because He is God and deserves our love.

 A PURIFIED HEART IS A PURIFIED SOUL; a heart that has been CIRCUMCISED, SANCTIFIED, REGENERATED, TRANSFORMED, RENEWED, AND REVIVED.

1 John 4:19 tells us God loved us first, and Romans 5:5 tells us that God poured His love into us. Here is what this means: God has given us His love. If you are ever wondering if God loves you, THINK ABOUT THE SACRIFICE HE MADE - OFFERING HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON ON THE CROSS FOR YOUR SAKE.

 WHAT AN AMAZING LOVE!

You can't manifest PURE LOVE FROM A PURE HEART if you don't love God who loved you first even in your Stubbornness and Rebellion.

Jesus says in Matthew 5:41 that we should go the EXTRA MILE with people. When you develop a PURIFIED SOUL WITH A PURE HEART, you can do this. You can do hard things for others.

 PURIFIED SOULS AND PURIFIED HEARTS ARE ALTRUISTIC IN NATURE; they go all out of their way to see that others are happy and comfortable even when things aren't rosy for them.

Today, God is instructing us as believers to love one another not pretentiously not in eye service but with a pure heart, a heart washed in the Blood free, from sin and worldly lust.

Jesus commanded that we LOVE one another as we LOVE ourselves, and because we love ourselves, we can't intentionally hurt ourselves likewise when we love our brethren with a pure heart as the Bible instructs, we will not do things that will hurt others, we'll help one another grow and get rid of things that disrupt love, things like jealousy and hatred and let love lead.

Love is beyond mere confession; Agape love will provoke you to pray for your brethren in the household of Faith, to support when it is needed, to lend a helping hand in times of need and not brag about it.

DO NOT LOVE WITH EVIL INTENTIONS; KEEP YOUR HEART PURE, AND LOVE LIKE JESUS.

THE VOICE OF WISDOM (DAY 48 OF 365)

THE VOICE OF WISDOM
(Nuggets from Proverbs 1:23)

Proverbs 9:10 declares, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”

The Amplified Version expounds on Proverbs 9:10 in this manner, “The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning (the chief and choice part) of Wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight and understanding.” 

The wise choose to FEAR the Lord. The wise choose to HONOUR the Lord. 
Let WISDOM become your SECURE FOUNDATION.
Let WISDOM become the FRAMEWORK of your life. 

THE VOICE OF WISDOM BECKONS, but ONLY THOSE WHO FEAR THE LORD WILL HEAR IT.

Turn at the reproof of WISDOM, turn to the voice of Wisdom when you are warned; Hearken without delay when you are instructed and reproved, and the SPIRIT OF WISDOM WILL POSSESS YOU. 

WISDOM SPEAKS and PLEADS with the frivolous, mockers, and the hostile, promising them that if they would turn, she would abundantly ENRICH THEM with her own SPIRIT, and with UNDERSTANDING.

When James tells us to be “quick to listen”, it means being silent and submissive towards God’s Word. 
It also means seeking GODLY COUNSEL from others, whose experiences and advice point us towards doing God's will as enshrined in the scriptures.

Though it may be difficult to understand and obey when undergoing challenging times, God lavishes His WISDOM upon us when we seek Him and His Word earnestly and sincerely. By reflecting on what God’s Word says about the purpose of the trials we face, the promises we have in Him when we choose to obey, and His power to carry out these promises, we can act in a manner that produces the RIGHTEOUS CHARACTER He desires to have in us and steer clear of criticism or complaint.

KNOWING GOD'S WILL is not the same as DOING GOD'S WILL. 

There’s a bridge that needs to be crossed between these two points and it’s called: OBEDIENCE.

 IT TAKES OBEDIENCE TO HEARKEN TO THE VOICE OF WISDOM. 

God’s will is not hidden from us. His perfect law is revealed in the Scriptures that millions of people own today and can access from around the globe. He speaks to us and urges us to take heed and obey His laws, but oftentimes we walk away from it, satisfied with the new insights we’ve gleaned from our study of the Bible or the residual knowledge we have, and fail to make any tangible changes to our lives. 

HAVING HEAD KNOWLEDGE ABOUT GOD DOES NOT TRANSLATE TO THE FEAR OF GOD. 

DEDICATE YOUR LIFE TO DOING GOD'S WILL AND OBEYING HIS COMMANDS, AND HE WILL GIVE YOU WISDOM WITHOUT MEASURE.

📹 THE VOICE OF WISDOM 

SERVING GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART (DAY 47 OF 365)

SERVING GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART
(Nuggets from 2 Chronicles 31:21)

A very careful look through the scripture reveals something quite strategic about how God works. 
He chooses ordinary people. Not because of what they bring to the table, but because their hearts are open to Him. 

This is HEARTWARMING, showing that THERE IS HOPE for anyone who is still wondering if their lives could ever matter in the grand scheme of God’s story.

God has a history of using the ordinary to accomplish His purposes. 

Moses couldn't speak well, but God called him to lead a nation. 

David was just a shepherd boy when God anointed him as King of Israel.

The disciples were FISHERMEN, TAX COLLECTORS, and REGULAR MEN, and yet through them, the Gospel went out to the world. What we see as ORDINARY, God sees as AVAILABLE. He’s not looking for top-notch resumes; He’s looking for hearts surrendered to Him.

The Apostle Paul reminded the church in Corinth that this was by God's design.

“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence” 
(1 Corinthians 1:27–29).

That means God gets the glory because it’s His strength working through our weakness. We can’t take the credit.

There’s comfort in that. You don’t need to strive to impress God or earn His love. He already loves you. What He desires is that you and I walk with Him, trust Him, and be available for whatever He places before you. 

When you step into what God calls you to, even if it feels small or hidden, He will meet you there, the Holy Spirit will strengthen you for the task that lies ahead. 
God will never leave you to figure it out on your own, He will equip you to do what He’s called you to do.

BEING CALLED BY GOD IS ONE THING, AND BEING WILLING TO SERVE HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART IS ANOTHER! 

God hates LIP SERVICE, PRETENCE, HYPOCRISY AND EYE SERVICE.

God demands Hezekiah's kind of service from us. As King of Judah, he wrought that which was GOOD, RIGHT and TRUTH before the LORD, and in every work that he began in the service of God's house, in keeping the laws and commandments of God. 

The Bible recorded that Hezekiah SOUGHT AFTER GOD WITH ALL HIS HEART, AND HE PROSPERED. 

GOD IS A REWARDER OF THEM THAT SEEK HIM DILIGENTLY, AND WHEN YOU SERVE HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART, HE WILL RECIPROCATE IN WAYS YOU CANNOT FATHOM.

UNEXPECTED PRIVILEGE OF THE GENTILES (DAY 46 OF 365)

UNEXPECTED PRIVILEGE OF THE GENTILES
(Nuggets from Acts 10:45)

Cornelius, the Centurion was a devout, and just man who feared God, and was of good report, but his moral uprightness was not enough.
God saw his SINCERITY and decided to show him mercy by offering him SALVATION, SANCTIFICATION and HOLY GHOST BAPTISM instantly.

‘The circumcised believers, (the Jews), were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles, (the non-Jews). For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God’ (Acts 10:45).

Again and again throughout human history, God has made a crucial intervention that absolutely no one was expecting, He has done incredible things that have shown His supremacy and unpredictable nature.

Abram was not expecting God to make him a promise, but He did!

The Israelites were not expecting God to send Moses, but He did!

The Jews were expecting the Messiah, but when He came they didn’t recognize Him.

Absolutely no one was expecting the Messiah to be crucified; 

No one was expecting that God would raise Jesus from the dead, despite the fact that Jesus had repeatedly told His apostles this would happen!

The believers were expecting the Holy Spirit but none of them knew what was about to happen at Pentecost. (The crowd was so bewildered, (Acts 2:6) that the leading evangelistic sermon ever preached began with the statement; ‘these people are not drunk!’ (Acts 2:15).

As it was in the case of Cornelius and his household, nobody was expecting the Holy Spirit to come on the Gentiles!

The Holy Spirit didn’t even wait for Peter to finish his talk; at the precise moment when Peter had stated that there is forgiveness for everyone who believes in Jesus, the Spirit fell  on the believing Gentiles and they spoke in tongues and praised God.

‘God showed that He accepted the Gentiles by giving them the Holy Spirit’ (Acts 15:8).

The outpouring of the Spirit on the Gentiles is the fulfillment of God’s promise to Abraham; He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. (Galatians 3:14). 

If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:29).

God acted and every single person in the room was in shock! The Gentiles were astonished that they were encountering Christ in the Spirit, and the Jews were astonished that God had poured out His Spirit on the Gentiles!

Many who are the first will be last, and many who are the last shall be first. (Matthew 19:30, 20:16); In other words, there are going to be a lot of surprises!

SALVATION IS FOR ALL, IT IS UNIVERSAL AND INCLUSIVE; DO NOT RELEGATE OR LOOK DOWN ON ANYONE BECAUSE THE STAUNCH SINNER TODAY IS A POTENTIAL PROSELYTE AND HEAVENLY CANDIDATE IN THE SIGHT OF GOD.

📹 UNEXPECTED PRIVILEGE OF THE GENTILES 

ADVERSARIES AGAINST OPEN DOORS (DAY 45 OF 365)

ADVERSARIES AGAINST OPEN DOORS
(Nuggets from 1 Corinthians 16:9)

Doors of Opportunities are opened to everyone in this world, but only few have the visual acuity to see those doors and position themselves well to not just get to the threshold but walk in, walk through and possess their possessions.

All around us every day, an unseen battle rages. It is invisible, yet we feel it in every aspect of our lives. 
It is a spiritual war, a battle for your soul and a desperate struggle for the survival of everything you love, your parents, siblings, immediate family, extended family, education, career, health, even your spiritual life and the well-being of our nation.

You cannot avoid this battle. You are in this spiritual combat whether or not you want it, because the enemy is strategizing to come for you and yours. 

The only VICTORY you have over these ADVERSARIES is your FAITH in God.

In John 10:10, Jesus already preinformed us that the thief comes to STEAL, KILL, and DESTROY, but that He our Saviour is came to give us ABUNDANT LIFE.

Who are these ADVERSARIES?
The devil! But he doesn't work alone; he has emissaries, agents, principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places who help him to achieve his purpose - INFLICTING PAIN ON GOD'S CHILDREN AND FRUSTRATING THEM OUT OF FAITH.

Our ADVERSARIES are EVIL. Indeed, our enemy is the very definition of the foulest conceivable evil, and these foes never stops hurting, fighting, deceiving, cheating, and killing in an endless effort to destroy all that is dear to us.

These ADVERSARIES murder, physically and spiritually. The devil himself wishes to deprive you of our life here on earth and (far worse) eternally in Heaven. 

The adversaries desire to have widowed spouses, orphaned children, and fill our lives with sin, death, and despair. You must live with this consciousness that your heart, our home, our family, and well being are at stake.

God has opened a GREAT and EFFECTUAL DOOR  for you, but you have to FIGHT TO KEEP IT OPEN and POSSESS ALL THAT BELONGS TO YOU.

Open doors come with STIFF OPPOSITION,  FRUSTRATION, RESISTANCE, OBSTACLES and HURDLES.

But, God says FEAR NOT!
Rejoice!

For however evil and powerful our enemy may be, on our side is a force of sacrificial love that is far greater than any other force in the universe.

Our Supreme Commander in this war is the one who created the entire universe and everything there is, visible and invisible, and He loves you.

SIN BREAKS THE HEDGE, BUT YOUR FIRST LINE OF DEFENCE IS LIVING A RIGHTEOUS AND HOLY LIFE, AND THE GUARANTEED VICTORY YOU SEEK IS YOUR FAITH IN GOD. 

KEEP FIGHTING, DON'T GIVE THE ADVERSARIES A CHANCE.

📹 ADVERSARIES AGAINST OPEN DOORS 

ALIENATED FROM THE LIFE OF GOD (DAY 44 OF 365)

ALIENATED FROM THE LIFE OF GOD
(Nuggets from Ephesians 4:18)

The amplified version gives a better INSIGHT on today's scripture:

Their moral understanding is darkened and their reasoning is beclouded. [They are] alienated (estranged, self-banished) from the life of God [with no share in it; this is] because of the ignorance (the want of knowledge and perception, the willful blindness) that is deep-seated in them, due to their hardness of heart [to the insensitiveness of their moral nature].

Apostle Paul warned the church in Ephesus about the DANGERS OF WILLFUL IGNORANCE. He warned the church to avoid the ways of the HEATHEN who were given to every form of PERVERSION, and he also gave a breakdown of their characteristics as follows:

- Their MORAL UNDERSTANDING IS DARKENED; which means that they are morally irresponsible because they have no fear of God and the light of the Glorious Gospel of Christ does not shine in them.

- Their REASONING IS BECLOUDED; because sin now has dominion and upper hand in their lives. Such people do not reason normally, and things of the God do not make sense to them.

- They are ALIENATED/SELF-BANISHED/ESTRANGED from the ZOE LIFE OF GOD; they cannot experience the SUPERNATURAL LIFE that every true child of God is entitled to, and as a result, they are BEREFT OF KNOWLEDGE, they grope in darkness because they chose to be WILFULLY BLIND, knowing the source of light but choosing darkness instead.

Their greatest undoing is the HARDNESS OF THEIR HEART which has made them to remain ADAMANT IN SIN and have no remorse for their evil deeds. 

DON'T BE SUCH A PERSON, AND IF YOU KNOW SUCH, YOU CAN HELP BY PRAYING FOR THEM, NOT TRYING TO WIN THEM OVER OR CONVINCE THEM BECAUSE YOU MIGHT END UP BEING WON OVER. 

LIVE CAUTIOUSLY, OPEN UP YOUR HEART TO GOD FOR CONSTANT RENEWAL AND ALLOW THE LIGHT OF GOD'S WORD TO ILLUMINE YOUR LIFE.

(Nuggets from Jude 1:19)

This was an exhortation from Jude who was a half-brother of our Lord Jesus Christ. He warned against FALSE TEACHERS, UNBELIEF, SINS OF THE FLESH, APOSTASY, UNGODLINESS and EVIL SPEAKING. 

He further reminded us of the words of the Apostles of our Lord Jesus and warned that we should not be carried away in these last days and that we should avoid those who DO THINGS THAT ARE CONTRARY TO THE WILL OF GOD; but how do you IDENTIFY such people? 

- They never associate with God or anything that pertains to God or His son, Jesus Christ; they don't regard the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary, and they SEPARATE THEMSELVES and NEVER IDENTIFY WITH CHRIST.

- They are SENSUAL; always given to the SINS OF THE FLESH. They have not mortified their flesh and as a result, they engage in all acts of immorality and consistently defile the flesh. 

Your body should be the TEMPLE OF GOD, but for such people, they go about bragging that it is their choice to do whatever they want to do with their body. AVOID SUCH PEOPLE!

Such people who do not associate with God do not have the Spirit of God and can never receive God's attention. They are not ADOPTED INTO SONSHIP either because "as many who have received the SPIRIT OF GOD are called the SONS OF GOD." This means that such people have NO PEDIGREE. 

Don't be a men-pleaser, don't join the bandwagon, don't follow multitudes to do evil. 

ASSOCIATING WITH THOSE WHO DON'T ASSOCIATE WITH GOD IS TANTAMOUNT TO SEPARATING YOURSELF FROM GOD!

THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER
(Nuggets from Acts 2:17)

God made a promise to the church for these LAST DAYS dispensation which commenced at the PENTECOST and will continue through till the EXIT OF THE CHURCH at the RAPTURE. 

This PROMISE cuts across all tribes, colours, races, ages irrespective of age or geographical location. It started in the upper room, and ever since then, the HOLY SPIRIT has continually endued every QUALIFIED VESSEL who comes to God in need of Him.

Jesus knew firsthand the kind of power associated with the Holy Spirit. When God said, “Let there be” (Gen. 1), He demonstrated a make-it-happen kind of power. It was the Holy Spirit who executed His command. All that power was ready to be unleashed with just a word. Jesus wielded this same power during His earthly ministry; It was such a LIMITLESS POWER, able to HEAL THE SICK, CAST OUT DEVILS, and CALM THE STORMS. It was the same power that raised the dead body of Jesus back to life. 

In the Greek, it is called DUNAMIS POWER.

The Holy Spirit was given to Jesus so He could accomplish every assignment given to Him. For us to truly be Christ’s followers and demonstrate the same works He did, and even greater works (John 14:12), we must be empowered by the same HOLY SPIRIT. It is impossible for us to walk in the same anointing and do exploits like Jesus did without it. This is why Jesus insisted that the disciples must not leave Jerusalem until they had received the promised Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4). Only after the Spirit came upon them would they receive dunamis power to take the gospel “to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8)

Just as the Father gave the gift of the Spirit to the Son and to Jesus’ disciples, He wants to give Him to us. 

The HOLY SPIRIT is not an object, He is an INTELLIGIBLE BEING with emotions, the third person in the TRINITY; THE SPIRIT OF GOD HIMSELF.

God knows exactly what He’s doing by giving us the Holy Spirit to help us grow up in Him. It is truly impossible to be a follower of Jesus without the HOLY SPIRIT, and the Father stands by, ready to give Him to all who ask (Luke 11:13). 

If the APOSTLES of old needed the HOLY SPIRIT, we, the church of the end-times needs Him much more, and as promised, HE IS READY TO RELEASE HIS SPIRIT UPON YOU. 

ASK, AND YOU WILL SURELY RECEIVE HIM, SEEK HIM AND YOU WILL FIND HIM, YEARN FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND YOU WILL BE ENDUED.

GOD'S GIFTS AND CALLING ARE IRREVOCABLE
(Nuggets from Romans 11:29)

God's GIFTS and CALLING are not subject to a change of mind. God does not RETRACT, WITHDRAW, RECANT or REVOKE His gifts both to His Angels and to mortal men.

Lucifer was an Angel in Heaven before his rebellion. 

Ezekiel 28:12-15 highlights the extent of endowment Lucifer had:

- Lucifer was full of WISDOM, 

- Lucifer was PERFECT IN BEAUTY

- Lucifer was BEAUTIFIED and COVERED with PRECIOUS STONES like SARDIUS, TOPAZ, DIAMOND, BERYL, ONYX, JASPER, SAPPHIRE, EMERALD, CARBUNCLE, and GOLD.

- Lucifer was the ANOINTED CHERUB that covered God's throne with his wings.

- Lucifer was PERFECT

 Imagine the calibre of Angel Lucifer was, adorned with such GLORY and BEAUTY, but because of His rebellion, He was evicted from Heaven. 

EVERYTHING WAS GOING WELL UNTIL SIN HAPPENED.

One would have thought that the moment he rebelled with his ⅓ of Angels, God would strip him of all the POWER, GLORY and EVERY GIFT he had, but God didn't REVOKE any. 
This is the same POWER he is using today to DECEIVE the world and lure souls to hell. 

God knew he would use these powers wrongly, and we have no right to question God's decision, because GOD'S GIFTS ARE IRREVOCABLE.

What about 'men of god', prophets, evangelists, and leaders in the household of Faith who are endowed with diverse gifts?
They heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out devils, perform miracles that show you clearly that they HAVE THE CALLING OF GOD ON THEIR HEADS, but unfortunately, THEY LIVE IN SIN whilst doing exploits for God. 

They would feel COMFORTABLE IN SUCH SINS because the devil deceives them into believing that their gifts would commend them before God. To make matters worse, the devil would make such a person believe that the Spirit of God is still with them, not knowing that He departed long ago.

The fact that THE GIFT'S AND CALLING OF GOD should give you mixed feelings: EXCITEMENT as a GENUINE CHILD OF GOD, and WORRIES as an OLD PROPHET and BACKSLIDEN MIRACLE WORKER because GIFTS CANNOT SECURE A PLACE FOR YOU IN HEAVEN, ONLY THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT CAN. 

BEING ENDOWED WITH THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT ARE WONDERFUL, BUT THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT ARE MORE IMPORTANT; ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LIVE RIGHT, GET THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT AND UTILIZE YOUR GOD-GIVEN GIFTS WITH CAUTION, FEAR AND TREMBLING. 

REMEMBER, LUCIFER'S GIFTS WERE NOT REVOKED!

YOUR CHILDREN SHALL KNOW HIS WAYS & PEACE (DAY 40 OF 365)

YOUR CHILDREN SHALL KNOW HIS WAYS & PEACE

 (Nuggets from Isaiah 54:13) 

God Almighty promised to teach the Israelites and their offspring after He had delivered them from captivity. Freedom at last, as Prophet Isaiah prophesied to the Israelites of the Messiah and His role He'll perform when He finally comes. In the preceding chapter, He expressed the joy He sees coming the way of the children of Israel and how the Lord has promised to repair the land, the people, comfort them from every pain, and deliver them totally from exile.

In today's verse, GOD is reminding us that He will teach our children His ways again, saying that He will direct their young ones again because He knew that their stay in Babylon must have cost them their knowledge of God, seeing it was a strange land that knew not the ways and precepts of the Lord. He proposed that many must have fallen away as a result of the servitude they were introduced to, causing them to drift from His principles and instructions to them.

As we know, we are the Israel of today. The promise of God to give us freedom from every captivity we might have gone into and to also help teach our children His ways is better. Our children cover both our biological and spiritual children. He promises to show them the way just as He has shown us and help them understand His path better.

So therefore, if you've been passing through any difficult time in bringing your offspring to the way of the Lord, regardless of how far they've strayed due to situations that surrounded them, God is promising to help bring them back by teaching them His ways afresh and instilling His knowledge inside them.

Servants of God, shepherds, ministers, coordinators, leaders, pastors, do not be afraid, do not despair, do not give up on your children because God will not allow the enemy to pluck them out of His hands. God has promised to teach them His ways and also restore His peace in them; the PEACE THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING. This PEACE is such that cannot be acquired by natural means; it is the PEACE DERIVED FROM HAVING ASSURANCE OF SALVATION.

DO YOUR PART BY SHOWING THEM THE WAY, LEADING BY EXAMPLE, AND COMMITTING THEM INTO GOD'S HANDS, AND HE WILL DO HIS PART BY TEACHING THEM HIS WAYS AND GIVING THEM LONG-LASTING PEACE FOR THEIR OBEDIENCE.

THE FOUNTAIN OF LIVING WATERS (DAY 39 OF 365)

THE FOUNTAIN OF LIVING WATERS
(Nuggets from Jeremiah 17:13)

Prophet Jeremiah was speaking to the people of Judah on the need to see God as their ONLY HOPE because they foolishly proposed an alliance with the Egyptians, hoping that they would protect them from the Chaldeans.

Putting trust in man ends in DISAPPOINTMENT and MISERY, but there is WISDOM and HAPPINESS in TRUSTING THE LORD.

Anyone who forsakes the Lord will experience SHAME and DISGRACE, just like abandoning a protective shield and going to a war front empty-handed, or deciding to walk about on the street without putting on an apparel to cover one's nakedness. 

Living your life without Jesus is FUTILE because He is the only one who can give your life a meaning. He is the reason you are alive in the first place, and Revelation 4:11 stated clearly the reason you and I were created - FOR HIS PLEASURE! 
Those who depart from Jesus shall be written in the earth, meaning that they shall disappear just like what is written on the ground; they will not stand the test of time.

 JESUS IS LIFE, THE ONLY SOURCE OF LIFE!

Jesus had an encounter with the SAMARITAN WOMAN at the well and she caught a glimpse of this FOUNTAIN OF LIVING WATERS.

Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water from the well will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

Jesus is the HOW. He doesn’t have to figure it out. HE HAS THE POWER TO DO ANYTHING. The woman says "How?" and He says "Through me. And not only through me once but I will provide and keep on providing. I will spring up in you and around you and I will never run out."

We jump to wanting to know how something will be done or we want to figure it out on our own, but we are reminded here that Jesus is THE HOW. It’s not on us to figure it out or make it all work. We get to surrender to the endless love, grace, and work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Jesus provides and keeps on providing. He doesn’t ever stop taking care of us. He doesn’t ever stop nourishing our souls. He doesn’t ever stop meeting us right where we are with exactly what we need. Jesus has the final say.

Life in this context is 'ZOE' (In Greek). ”Zoe means the GOD-KIND of LIFE. PHYSICAL and SPIRITUAL life. This is God's SUPERNATURAL LIFE that is abundant and wholesome and can only be gotten by having an encounter with Jesus. The ZOE LIFE is what Jesus mentioned in John 10:10.
There, we read that Jesus came to give us life and life to the full. Our physical existence is void of meaning (and dead) without knowing and having the source of all life within us.

When we believe that Jesus is who He says He is, He gives us Himself! He gives us real life that is more than enough, greater than this physical, temporary life, and exceedingly abundant with the fullness of His presence.

FORSAKING JESUS IS FORSAKING THE SOURCE OF LIFE, THE FOUNTAIN OF LIVING WATERS; EMBRACE JESUS TODAY AND CONNECT TO THE ZOE LIFE.

SERVING GOD ACCEPTABLY (DAY 38 OF 365)

SERVING GOD ACCEPTABLY
(Nuggets from Hebrews 12:28)

The KINGDOM OF GOD is not just a DESTINATION or COUNTRY that can be accessed with a visa and an air ticket. No one can just wake up one morning and decide to travel to another country without ADEQUATE PREPARATION.

Firstly, you need to fulfill the immigration requirements, by having your travel documents like your passport and every other vital information updated and authenticated. You also need to be travel-worthy, not a criminal, ex-convict or terrorist that will pose a threat to any nation, because most countries have strict laws and policies that restrict people with criminal records in the past.  You also need an air ticket, vaccination certificates and you will undergo some compulsory routine medical tests.

You must go through these Statutory checks and scrutiny before you can be qualified as an immigrant. The consulate of your destination country needs to  approve your visa before you can proceed to the immigration unit and when you are done, you check-in and board your flight. 

Upon arrival at your destination country, you don't just exit the airplane and find your way into the city just like that; the immigration needs to scrutinize you before granting you a permit based on your category (student, business, temporary, permanent, digital nomad or probably as an investor).

 THESE ARE STATUTORY CHECKS PUT IN PLACE BY MORTAL MEN!

Let's come back home! 
We are talking about GOING TO HEAVEN, not the United States of America, United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Australia, Japan or Germany. 

To travel to any of these countries, YOU MUST BE SCRUTINIZED AND SCREENED; How much more HEAVEN? If you must get into HEAVEN AT LAST, you must meet up with ALL REQUIREMENTS, THERE ARE NO WAIVERS.

Whilst some countries may likely grant you some waivers on emergency or other critical reasons, if you fulfill 99% of the conditions required to gain entry into Heaven, God will not waive His laid down rules and allow you in because of His NATURE OF JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS.

God demands PERFECTION, not haphazard service. He said "BE YE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY"; this is not an appeal, It is a COMMAND. 

ACQUIRE and COVET God's GRACE because it is an ENABLER that will EMPOWER you to SERVE GOD ACCEPTABLY with GODLY FEAR.

PRAY THAT GOD SHOULD HELP YOU TO LIVE WITH THIS CONSCIOUSNESS TILL THE END.

LOVE IS THE BEDROCK OF HUMILITY & UNITY
(Nuggets from Romans 12:16)

This was Apostle Paul's recommendation to the church in Rome and by extension to the church in this present dispensation.

LOVE IS THE FOUNDATION OF EVERY OTHER VIRTUE YOU CAN EVER THINK OF.

As a GENUINE CHRISTIAN, the LOVE you profess to one other should be SINCERE, FREE FROM DECEIT, and WITHOUT ULTERIOR MOTIVES. Depending on God's DIVINE GRACE, you have to make daily effort on your own to DETEST and DREAD all forms of evil, and take delight in whatever is pleasing to the Lord. 

LOVE IS THE BEDROCK!
Without LOVE it is difficult to be of the same mind and have a common purpose even in the household of Faith. This is the reason behind the CHAOS, ENVY, GOSSIPS, BACKBITING, HATRED, JEALOUSY, and LACK OF EMPATHY in the church today, because the same "CHRISTIANS" who profess to have encountered Jesus never got REGENERATED in the first place, they are still the SAME OLD AND NATURAL MEN. 

For UNITY to thrive in the body of Christ, LOVE must be restored in the church. Jesus Christ our Lord knew that His exit from this world would be followed by a drastic change and erosion of the values He instilled in his disciples and followers, and this was what prompted His prayer in John 17.

Jesus prayed earnestly to God to MAKE THEM ONE, JUST AS THE TRINITY IS ONE: GOD, THE FATHER, JESUS CHRIST THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. 

It was Love that made God send His only begotten son, and it was the UNITY that exists between the TRINITY that made Jesus Christ to accept the offer to die for the human race, and it was HUMILITY that  made Jesus Christ endure the PAIN and TORTURE; He had to go through it all without using His powers as God Himself. 

This same HUMILITY is lacking in the Body of Christ today. If you are a bonafide member of the Body of Christ and an integral part of the UNIVERSAL CHURCH, following the footsteps of Jesus whom you profess to serve shouldn't be by COERCION. You don't need to wait for any sermon to LOVE the way Christ did. 

As a HUMBLE PERSON, you won't feel uncomfortable to relate with everyone else; you won't rate yourself as SUPERIOR to anyone else, and you won't have a BLOATED OPINION of yourself to the detriment of others.

CONDESCENDING TO PEOPLE OF LOW ESTATE doesn't mean you should lose your self-esteem or become stupid, NO! It only means that you should be HUMBLE enough to associate with one another with a realistic self-view, not rating yourself highly whenever you are in the midst of people.

Don't ever think you have arrived or go about with the "I-know-it-all mentality", such people don't grow; they remain in PERPETUAL IGNORANCE because they feel everything they do is right and everyone else is wrong.

DON'T OVERESTIMATE YOURSELF, DON'T UNDERESTIMATE YOURSELF EITHER, BE NEUTRAL AND ASCRIBE ALL YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS IN LIFE TO GOD.

 🎥 LOVE IS THE BEDROCK OF HUMILITY & UNITY

FOCUS ON THE SOURCE, AND NOT THE RESOURCE (DAY 36 OF 365)

FOCUS ON THE SOURCE, AND NOT THE RESOURCE
(Nuggets from 1 Timothy 6:17)

This was Apostle Paul's epistle to Timothy urging him to charge the brethren in the church who had a tendency for materialism on the need to understand the USE OF RICHES.

This was not an epistle to the UNBELIEVERS but to those in the household of Faith - BELIEVERS who follow the Lord. 

He charged the RICH amongst them to understand that there was absolutely no need for them to be HIGH-MINDED just because they had EARTHLY RICHES. Riches in this world are inconsequential in ETERNITY if not used the right way as our Lord Jesus Christ recommended in Luke 16:9,

"And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by means of unrighteous mammon (deceitful riches, money, possessions), so that when it fails, they [those you have favored] may receive and welcome you into the everlasting habitations (dwellings)."

Riches on earth will eventually fail when the earthly tabernacle fails at death, so after delivering the PARABLE OF THE UNJUST STEWARD, Jesus needed to tell the disciples about the importance of laying up treasures for themselves in Heaven with the material things of this world, so that when their pilgrimage was over, they would have a WORTHY INHERITANCE in HEAVEN.

Being RICH/WEALTHY should not make you puff up or treat others like they are LESS-PRIVILEGED or LESSER HUMANS, and he further instructed that they should not trust in UNCERTAIN RICHES; but instead, put their trust in the LIVING GOD who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

USE YOUR GOD-GIVEN RICHES/WEALTH, POSITION, INFLUENCE, AND RESOURCES TO UPLIFT LIVES AND NOT OPPRESS THEM. 

SEE YOURSELF AS A STEWARD, YOU DON'T CALL THE SHOTS! 

You and I know that "the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof"; Which means that the ENTIRE UNIVERSE, including the HEAVENS, and everything in them emanate from God, both living and non-living things. 

ALL THINGS BELONG TO GOD; HE IS THE SOURCE!

Children of earthly Kings (Princes and Princesses) are automatically heirs to their Father's Kingdom and as such, have nothing to worry about. They know this, and they live with this consciousness.

Unfortunately, children of the Kingdom, who are CHILDREN OF THE KING of Kings and LORD of Lords just have THEORETICAL knowledge of the God they profess to serve but no PRACTICAL UNDERSTANDING of the SCOPE OF HIS RICHES.

GOD IS THE SOURCE, and the entire universe and all the WEALTH, RICHES, NATURAL RESOURCES, MINERAL RESOURCES and ANIMALS in the Sea, on Land, and in the Air, all Flora and Fauna you can think of, all Galaxies, Planetary Bodies, the Sun, Moon, Stars, Mountains, Hills, Rivers, Oceans, Lakes, Lakes, Springs, name them.. 

THEY ARE ALL HIS RESOURCES!

So if you are truly God's child, WHY FOCUS ON THE RESOURCE WHEN YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE SOURCE?

Don't let MISPLACED PRIORITIES deny you the fullness of the riches God wants you to enjoy. Whether it is MATERIAL RICHES or INTELLIGENCE or BEAUTY, or FAME, there is nothing you have in this world that was not given to you by God. 

HUMBLE YOURSELF, LIVE A RIGHTEOUS LIFE, SEEK GOD AND WHEN YOU FIND HIM, STICK TO THE SOURCE, AND THE RESOURCE WILL NATURALLY BE YOURS.

CALLED AND CHOSEN BY GOD
(Nuggets from Romans 8:30)

God in His INFINITE MERCIES and LOVE chose you even before your parents thought of having you. In His blueprint, He already planned and programmed everything about you: your day of birth, and the day we would become His. In His loving-kindness, He drew you and I to REPENTANCE - Romans 2:4.

You are here today because GOD CALLED AND YOU RESPONDED TO THE CALL. Not all who are called eventually respond; some decline the call to their own detriment, but your case was different.

GOD DOES NOT CALL EVERY PERSON, He saw something in you before He decided to invest in you.
Whilst delivering the PARABLE of the wedding feast, Jesus said:
"For many are called, but few are chosen,"..

This means that BEING CALLED IS NOT A GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL BE CHOSEN ULTIMATELY.
God does not disqualify the called to prevent them from being chosen; we are the architects of our destiny and the major reason we are either CHOSEN OR NOT.

Jesus further said in John 15:16 that "You did not choose me, but I chose you." This means that you didn't just decide out of your own volition to choose God, HE ALONE HAS THAT EXCLUSIVE RIGHT.

Have you ever wondered WHY GOD CHOSE YOU? Ephesians 1:4 explains that:

"According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be HOLY and without BLAME before Him in love:". 

Once chosen, if you want to retain your status in the sight of God and advance to BEING CHOSEN, YOU MUST BE HOLY AND BLAMELESS.

Whosoever God did PREDESTINATE (by making them to be conformed to the image of His dear son, our Lord Jesus) them He also CALLED. Without this CALL, no one can be saved; and whom He CALLED, them He also JUSTIFIED (all those who respond to the call of salvation are JUSTIFIED BY FAITH and their RIGHTEOUSNESS is the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST, and whom He JUSTIFIED, them He also GLORIFIED; only those who are JUSTIFIED will be GLORIFIED at last, as they are the only ones QUALIFIED for the TRANSLATION and subsequent catching up of the saints - THE RAPTURE. 

IF YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED BY GOD, DON'T TRUNCATE YOUR JOURNEY OR ABORT YOUR MISSION; ALLOW GOD TO PASS YOU THROUGH ALL THESE PROCESSES THAT WILL CULMINATE AT THE RAPTURE. 

JUSTIFY YOUR CALLING!

When you choose to fill your life with the things of this world, you crowd out anything that has ETERNAL CONSEQUENCE, making you lose sight of Heaven, and forget the reason you signed up to follow Jesus in the first place.

This is the reason our Lord Jesus said in Matthew 6:24, 

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon."

As disciples of Jesus, we must learn to lead different lives and beg to differ. Seeing that we live in a world that defies morality, any Christian who TRULY DESIRES HEAVEN will never be found playing to the gallery. 

In Proverbs 22:28, the Bible says:
"Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set", but the DECEIVERS and WOLVES IN SHEEP CLOTHING have twisted the truth in a bid to blend with the world, they now go with the mantra of SHIFTING THE CULTURE.

An age-long standard of God that has been from time immemorial is what this depraved world wants to modify in the name of culture shifting and this is because the things of God are like FOOLISHNESS to them.

Instead of looking up to others as your standard for what is good or right, look to Jesus:
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;" - Hebrews 12:2a

Instead of setting the bar for your life by looking at successful and influential people, set your bar at living like Jesus. Jesus valued His relationship with God above all else. He valued obedience to the Father’s will above all other pursuits. Every breath He breathed was done to the glory of God the Father and in fulfillment of His plans, and you and I are to do the same.

To DESIRE HEAVEN is to LIVE FOR HEAVEN, and to throw off every weight that would hinder you from pursuing a life of HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS; it means getting rid of anything that wants to hamper your relationship with Jesus. 

TO DESIRE HEAVEN IS TO LIVE FOR JESUS, and declare with your thoughts, actions, and emotions that Jesus truly is Lord over your life.

Those who DESIRE HEAVEN live with this HOPE and avoid anything that would disqualify them from inheriting the Kingdom of God.

Living with a HEAVENLY PERSPECTIVE would prompt you to spend time in God’s presence, studying His word and honoring Him with your life. 

You must choose to live differently and allow the Lord to DAILY RENEW A RIGHT SPIRIT WITHIN YOU.

The life of anyone who is DESIROUS OF HEAVEN AT LAST would definitely be COUNTERCULTURAL, but because you are not living to please anyone, this is very much in order. 

WHO AND WHAT ARE YOU LIVING FOR? 

DESIRING HEAVEN SHOULD BE YOUR EVERYDAY TASK; THEREFORE, PREPARE YOURSELF TO INHERIT THE MANSION JESUS HAS GONE TO PREPARE FOR YOU.

GENERATIONAL COVENANT
(Nuggets from Genesis 17:7)

God's covenant with Abraham was a GENERATIONAL COVENANT, God taught Abraham PATIENCE, although it wasn't easy for Abraham because he was ageing already and couldn't wait to see these promises come to fruition. 

Remember that when God first called Abraham out of Ur of the Chaldees and established a covenant with him, Abraham was seventy-five years old. Almost twenty-five years had passed since God promised to make him a GREAT NATION, and there was still no child born to Abraham and Sarah. This twenty-five-year delay had sown seeds of SKEPTICISM and UNBELIEF in Abraham’s heart, and in response to God’s promise of a son, we learn that Abraham laughed and said in his heart,

"Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?" 
Genesis 17:17

Abraham had interpreted God’s delay as unwillingness or an inability to keep His covenant. The slow passage of days and months and years had eroded the confident faith of the same man who in response to God’s promise, obediently went forth when the Lord had spoken to him. (Genesis 12:4). 

Abraham needed to know that God does not work according to our timetables, and sometimes His plan will stretch us beyond our expectations not because He is indifferent to our plea, but because His blessings are MIND-BLOWING. 

Abraham responded to the delay of God’s promise by attempting to help God keep the covenant. God must have felt so disappointed.

Abraham and Sarah had a very conventional response to God’s delay in keeping His promise: "if God will not provide the blessing then, we would provide it ourselves."

This self-sufficient mentality and “illegitimate help,” gave rise to the sin of Abraham sleeping with Sarah’s maidservant, Hagar, and giving birth to Ishmael.
(Genesis 16:1-16). 

Abraham and Sarah, as co-conspirators, now had a male heir, but in taking matters into their own hands, they had acted outside of God’s plans for how He would keep His promises. 

God, however, was not interested in ILLEGITIMATE MEANS of help to achieve a LEGITIMATE END - Abraham’s son, Isaac. To Abraham’s offer of Ishmael as the child of the covenant, God responded, “No, but Sarah your wife will bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; and I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him” (Genesis 17:20). 

God’s covenant with His Abraham's children is a promise of ownership and heredity as God’s children.

All along the way, God led, taught, and empowered Abram to make choices while holding the future completely in His hands. 
This is a miracle. The miracle of a sovereign and loving God who encourages us to choose His will, and then blesses us beyond what we can imagine just for stepping out in faith.

Abraham’s story should be an incredible encouragement for you. He was an ordinary man who made choices we might disapprove of, but Abraham was not reading a script. He was living a beautiful story of FAITH and REDEMPTION, and it is clear that God blessed him just for trusting Him.

God's BLESSINGS, REWARDS and GIFTS are IRREVOCABLE 
(Romans 11:29).
You can possess these gifts and still have amazing future rewards connected with your current choices. Your REWARDS will accumulate as you walk in obedience.

God is calling you to WALK IN FAITH, AND SOW SEEDS that will BLESS and SHAPE your FUTURE GENERATIONS like Abraham.

THE OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
(Nuggets from Isaiah 32:15)

The Holy Spirit has been in existence before creation. He has been in operation from ETERNITY PAST, He is in operation in the world today, and He will keep working till the end of the church age, which will terminate at the rapture when the saints are taken away.

The moment the church is raptured, the Holy Spirit will no longer restrain the antichrist from revealing the MYSTERY OF INIQUITY upon the earth.

The Holy Spirit is the reason sinners get convicted and even though the Grace of God will leave the GENTILES and focus on the JEWS, not everyone who misses the rapture will receive the mark of the beast; tribulation saints will emerge, and it is still the Holy Spirit who will put fear in the hearts of the few remnants who will now have to pay with their blood (a terrible risk that must not be gambled with).

God upholds the entire universe and all of His creation by the Holy Spirit. 
Before creation, the Holy Spirit hovered upon the face of the waters, and from that time till now, He has been in operation to INSURE GOD'S CREATION. 

Until the Holy Spirit takes charge, nothing changes. TRUE CHANGE, TRANSFORMATION AND SUCCESS IS ORCHESTRATED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. 

Prophet Isaiah foresaw a coming RESTORATION that would happen to the Jewish nation, the WILDERNESS turning to a FRUITFUL FIELD, and a FRUITFUL FIELD turning into a FOREST. 

In context, today's verse highlights the need to seek the true transformation that the Holy Spirit brings. 

The Holy Spirit can turn a SPIRITUAL WILDERNESS into a FERTILE FIELD, He has the ability to TRANSFORM a CHURCH that has LOST ITS WAY into a growing, Heaven-bound community of HARVESTERS who will be eager to seek lost souls. 

As you prioritize God this new month and always, the Holy Spirit will metamorphose your life and turn every WILDERNESS INTO A FRUITFUL FIELD and make you productive on every side. 

If the Holy Spirit truly resides in you, your life cannot remain the same. He will transform every DESERT and BARRENNESS in your life into a FRUITFUL FIELD, and you will BEAR FRUITS that will benefit others, and as you grow in HOLINESS and RIGHTEOUSNESS, the erstwhile desert will not just become a FRUITFUL FIELD, but progress into a FOREST.

HUMILITY LIKE NO OTHER
(Nuggets from Philippians 2:6)

Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, despite being God Himself, chose to be a Servant, humbling Himself to come and dwell amongst mortal men and become like you and I.

Jesus, who is fully God and fully human, exemplified servanthood. 
Despite being in the form of God, and part of the Godhead as the second person in the TRINITY, Jesus didn't see His EQUALITY WITH GOD as something that should be taken advantage of to rub shoulders with God. 

Jesus Christ was essentially one with God and in the form of God; possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God the SUPREME GOD He is, but He did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained.

In simpler terms, Jesus did not want to take advantage of His equal status with God to question God's decision to send Him to come and die for humanity.

What if Jesus decided to question that decision? 

What if He decided to suggest an alternative to God? Do you think God would have resisted? NO! 

Jesus literally gave up His PRIVILEGES and RIGHTS and that is the central message of today's verse - HUMILITY. 

It is a sense of ENTIRE NOTHINGNESS, not allowing your status or achievements to make you Lord it over everyone else.

Jesus' example of HUMILITY is SECOND TO NONE. 

Imagine the KING OF KINGS and the LORD OF LORDS accepting to be born in a manger to a carpenter. He didn't give God specifications or conditions that must be fulfilled before He accepted the offer to come and die for mankind. 

Jesus didn't request to be born into the house of King Herod or any other notable King of that era; He didn't choose to be born into the family of the Governor or Prime Minister, He chose a CARPENTER. 

Little wonder the Jews didn't take Him seriously, they once said "Is this not the Carpenter's son"? 
To them, how could the MESSIAH be born to a CARPENTER?

God uses UNEXPECTED, UNCONVENTIONAL ways and instruments to achieve His purpose.

LEARN FROM JESUS' HUMILITY. Jesus should be your role model; you should seek to have this kind of HUMILITY. This SELFLESS NATURE should be seen in the life of anyone who professes to be a Christian; COVET THIS VIRTUE BY ALL MEANS.

Just like Jesus, choose to live a LOW-PROFILE LIFE, totally inconspicuous, not showing off your capability just to prove a point, not intimidating others with your PRIVILEGES or oppressing people unduly with unnecessary classism.

DON'T EVER SEE YOURSELF AS SUPERIOR TO OTHERS; DON'T DISREGARD ANYONE JUST BECAUSE YOU FEEL YOU HAVE WHAT THEY DON'T HAVE.

There is nothing you have in this world, achievements, status, wealth, success, beauty, fame, and whatever privileges you are enjoying now that you didn't receive from God. 

HUMILITY IS ACCEPTING THE FACT THAT WITHOUT GOD, YOU ARE NOTHING. 

YOU CAN NEVER BE AS HUMBLE AS JESUS CHRIST, BUT IN HIM, YOU HAVE A TEMPLATE TO EMULATE AND LEARN FROM.

REPROBATE MINDS
(Nuggets from Romans 1:28)

Apostle Paul gave us a sneak peek into the root cause of Development of a REPROBATE MIND in Romans 1:18 - 27;

God is an INFLUENCEABLE being, you can move Him to BLESS you for your RIGHTEOUS deeds or RELEASE HIS WRATH on you for your OBSTINACY. God's wrath is revealed as a response or reaction to SIN and every form of UNGODLINESS upon those who hold the truth in UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.

Who are these people?
Those who refuse to recognize who God is and what God is, they reject God through their actions and deeds, and due to their depraved nature, THEY REJECT THE LIGHT.

A REPROBATE MIND is such a mind that has been WARPED, TWISTED, SKEWED, PERVERTED, DISTORTED, AND DISORIENTED.
Reprobacy does not just happen in a day. It is a gradual process of DEGENERATION that turns an erstwhile 'believer' into an enemy of Christ, hardened and adamant in their pernicious ways.

A REPROBATE person is a BLACK SHEEP, a DEVIANT, a PERVERT, a CORRUPT and INTENTIONAL WRONG-DOER.

REPROBATES are TOO FAMILIAR with the word of God, and the things of God; they know the scriptures, they quote it, but THEY FAIL TO LIVE IT, THEY DISREGARD IT, THEY HOLD IT IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.

They choose not to acknowledge God, not because they cannot, but because they have no form of reverential fear for God, and as a result, choose to forsake him, and follow their own passions and lusts.

A REPROBATE IS IRREDEEMABLE AND MARKED FOR DESTRUCTION.

Judas Iscariot had a REPROBATE MIND, he dined and feasted on the same table with Jesus Christ our Lord, but his avarice eventually became a means to his inglorious end. 

UNCONFESSED SINS, UNTREATED HEARTS AND TRIVIALIZED LITTLE FOXES LEAD TO REPROBACY. 

REPROBATES are those who indulge in SECRET SINS; they display SINFUL BOLDNESS, they commit sins and quote the scriptures to defend their PERVERSION and the only thing they bring to the body of Christ is ignominy.

You know yourself more than anyone else, but God knows you more than you know yourself. 
Whilst the devil suggests hypocrisy and religious drama in the name of practicing Christianity, GOD LOVES SINCERITY, and would have you approach Him today to get rid of those excesses in your life. 

A REPROBATE CANNOT MAKE IT TO HEAVEN AT LAST; LIVE CAUTIOUSLY.
