(Nuggets from Romans 1:28)
Apostle Paul gave us a sneak peek into the root cause of Development of a REPROBATE MIND in Romans 1:18 - 27;
God is an INFLUENCEABLE being, you can move Him to BLESS you for your RIGHTEOUS deeds or RELEASE HIS WRATH on you for your OBSTINACY. God's wrath is revealed as a response or reaction to SIN and every form of UNGODLINESS upon those who hold the truth in UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.
Who are these people?
Those who refuse to recognize who God is and what God is, they reject God through their actions and deeds, and due to their depraved nature, THEY REJECT THE LIGHT.
A REPROBATE MIND is such a mind that has been WARPED, TWISTED, SKEWED, PERVERTED, DISTORTED, AND DISORIENTED.
Reprobacy does not just happen in a day. It is a gradual process of DEGENERATION that turns an erstwhile 'believer' into an enemy of Christ, hardened and adamant in their pernicious ways.
A REPROBATE person is a BLACK SHEEP, a DEVIANT, a PERVERT, a CORRUPT and INTENTIONAL WRONG-DOER.
REPROBATES are TOO FAMILIAR with the word of God, and the things of God; they know the scriptures, they quote it, but THEY FAIL TO LIVE IT, THEY DISREGARD IT, THEY HOLD IT IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.
They choose not to acknowledge God, not because they cannot, but because they have no form of reverential fear for God, and as a result, choose to forsake him, and follow their own passions and lusts.
A REPROBATE IS IRREDEEMABLE AND MARKED FOR DESTRUCTION.
Judas Iscariot had a REPROBATE MIND, he dined and feasted on the same table with Jesus Christ our Lord, but his avarice eventually became a means to his inglorious end.
UNCONFESSED SINS, UNTREATED HEARTS AND TRIVIALIZED LITTLE FOXES LEAD TO REPROBACY.
REPROBATES are those who indulge in SECRET SINS; they display SINFUL BOLDNESS, they commit sins and quote the scriptures to defend their PERVERSION and the only thing they bring to the body of Christ is ignominy.
You know yourself more than anyone else, but God knows you more than you know yourself.
Whilst the devil suggests hypocrisy and religious drama in the name of practicing Christianity, GOD LOVES SINCERITY, and would have you approach Him today to get rid of those excesses in your life.
A REPROBATE CANNOT MAKE IT TO HEAVEN AT LAST; LIVE CAUTIOUSLY.
