YOU SHALL ENJOY THE WORKS OF YOUR HANDS
(Nuggets from Isaiah 65:22)
Today, God promises HIS ELECT - all who have accepted Christ as their Lord and personal Savior that "THEY SHALL ENJOY THE WORKS OF THEIR HANDS."
This speaks of INTERIM BLESSINGS and ETERNAL BLESSINGS, enjoyment that will NEVER CEASE.
There shall be an unending enjoyment of the comforts of life for THE RIGHTEOUS.
This phrase reflects a reversal of the curses and injustices experienced by the Israelites, particularly during times of conquest and exile. Historically, the Israelites faced situations where they built homes and planted vineyards, only for foreign invaders to take them over. This promise signifies a future of stability and security, where the fruits of one's labor are not taken by others. It also points to a future Messianic age where justice and righteousness will prevail, aligning with the prophetic vision of peace and prosperity.
"For as is the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people,"
Trees, particularly in the ancient Jewish land, symbolized longevity and endurance. The comparison to a tree suggests a life of stability, strength, and continuity for God's people.
This imagery is consistent with other biblical references, such as Psalm 1:3, where the righteous are likened to a tree planted by streams of water. The promise of long life is a blessing that contrasts with the brevity and uncertainty of life under sin and judgment. It also hints at the eternal life promised through the New Covenant, fulfilled in Jesus Christ, who offers eternal life to His followers.
For God's children, Israel, before it was very uncertain and precarious, their enemies inhabited the houses which they built and ate the fruit of the trees which they planted, now God promised them that it shall be otherwise, for they shall build houses and inhabit them, they shall plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them, and this promise is also applicable to all those who are His chosen in this dispensation. God's promises always stand the test of time.
If only you elect to OBEY GOD'S INJUNCTIONS and live a life void of any iota of sin, the labor of your hands shall be blessed and you will prosper in all you do. You shall gain whatever you aim at, and all your gains shall be preserved and secured for you by the Lord.
You shall enjoy it comfortably, and nothing shall deny you all that belongs to you. You shall live to enjoy the labor of your hands.
Strangers shall not break in upon you to expel you and plant themselves in your habitation, you will enjoy DIVINE SECURITY from God.
All that the cankerworm, the locust, palmerworm and caterpillar have hitherto destroyed will be restored.
Some skeptics may argue that the SINNERS ARE ALSO PROSPERING and SUCCEEDING IN ALL THEIR ENDEAVORS, but they won't tell you that this success is fleeting and short-lived, like grasses that wither and dreams that end suddenly.
Psalm 37:2 describes the prosperity of the wicked as such that shall soon be cut down like the grass, and withers like the green herb.
On the surface, the road of the wicked/sinners may look prosperous, however, upon closer inspection, it is easy to see that it is SLIPPERY and they usually don't end well.
What is life without Jesus?
Riches, fame, fortune, prosperity and wealth without Jesus is nothing but a WASTE.
God is saying "My elect shall enjoy for long the work of their hands which they themselves have labored for".
"Mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands," this assurance highlights a future where God's people will experience the fullness of their labor without fear of loss or exploitation. It reflects the original intent of creation, where humanity was to work and enjoy the fruits of the earth (Genesis 2:15).
The term "chosen ones" underscores the special relationship between God and His people, reminiscent of the covenant promises made to Abraham and his descendants.
It also connects to the hope found in Revelation 21:4, where God’s people will dwell in a NEW HEAVEN and a NEW EARTH, free from pain and suffering, fully enjoying the blessings of their labor in the presence of God.
So, whilst you enjoy God's blessings here in Earth, do not lose sight of ETERNITY, because that is what counts the most.
GOD IS INTERESTED IN YOUR PROSPERITY BOTH IN THIS WORLD AND IN ETERNITY.
This is HOLINESS CHALLENGE
