DO NOT HARBOUR INIQUITY IN YOUR HEART (DAY 124 OF 365)

DO NOT HARBOUR INIQUITY IN YOUR HEART
(Nuggets from Psalm 66:18)

The Psalmist wrote this Scripture from a place of EXPERIENCE, knowing the damage sin had done to him as King of Israel.

The Kingdom of God is measured by RIGHTEOUSNESS and HOLINESS. To love RIGHTEOUSNESS and HOLY LIVING is to value what God values. To HATE INIQUITY is to REJECT anything that distorts the truth of God's word.

INIQUITY is deliberate wrongdoing. It happens when you know what is right but choose otherwise. As a child of God, it is abnormal to entertain, practice or normalize iniquity. When you spend time studying God's word, you will have no spare time for INIQUITY.

INIQUITY IS SIN and vice versa.

To Harbour INIQUITY is to treat or handle sin with kids gloves, taking sin as a norm and practicing it without any fear or condemnation.
God is calling His true children to be like the BEREAN BELIEVERS who fact-checked every teaching (Acts 17:11).

Many Christians today are just interested in CHARISMA and display of the GIFTS of the Spirit but unfortunately pay little or no attention to acquiring the FRUIT of the Spirit.

Don't follow charisma; follow character. Study the Word, test the spirits, and stand firm in truth. Righteousness is the atmosphere where God’s anointing flows; it's not an optional virtue.

If you desire the oil of gladness, you must create an environment where HOLINESS thrives. You must be ready to LOVE RIGHTEOUSNESS, and HATE INIQUITY, and you will see God’s presence evident in your life.

God hears those who do not harbour iniquity in their heart but understand that as children of God, We are not called to fit into the world’s patterns but to reflect heaven’s values on earth.

The Apostle Peter reminds us:
“Be holy, for I am holy”
(1 Peter 1:16).

Holiness is not just seeking perfection; it is alignment with God's will, and choosing God’s way when culture offers convenience. Today, many believers are losing sight of this standard, especially on social media. The pressure to blend in has silenced conviction. But the Church must remember: we are pilgrims, not settlers.

Let righteousness become your measure. Let Scripture, not trends, define your values. Heaven’s throne is built on righteousness. When you love righteousness and hate iniquity, God anoints you with gladness above your peers.

This is HOLINESS CHALLENGE
