GALATIANS 5:12
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to PRAY THAT GOD WILL ERADICATE AND SILENCE EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING POSING A THREAT TO YOUR CHRISTIAN FAITH THROUGH FALSEHOOD AND DECEPTION.
Apostle Paul was admonishing the brethren in Galatia, and expressed a strong desire that God should cut off everyone who comes to deceive the brethren who were still young in faith at the time.
They were confusing the young Christians on the matter of circumcision, letting them know that even though they were Christians, their salvation was based on circumcision and not by Faith in Christ Jesus, which was a total fallacy.
Salvation comes by Faith and not by observing laws and ordinances, but these false preachers would make people to believe otherwise.
Apostle Paul desired that all such people would be cut off from the innocent ones they are deceiving just the same way a foreskin is cut off from the male child during circumcision, to express the extent of His displeasure.
Jesus also displayed His displeasure with such people who deceive or lead innocent ones astray; He said it would be better that a millstone was hanged around their necks and that they were drowned in the sea.
There are people today who take delight in deceiving innocent but ignorant believers. It is possible you have fallen prey and even gotten indoctrinated to the point of believing their blasphemies; today, God's desire is that all those fake people get cut-off from your life.
Let the word of God be the ONLY basis of your belief, and never you get it twisted that salvation is by works or obeying abrogated laws.
SALVATION COMES BY THE FAITH WE HAVE IN CHRIST.
