COLOSSIANS 1:23
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to CONTINUE IN THE FAITH AND REMAIN STEADFAST IN YOUR CONVICTION AS A CHRISTIAN, DON'T LOSE SIGHT OF THE HOPE YOU HAVE IN CHRIST.
Apostle Paul was highlighting the need to continue holding on to our Faith as children of God and not allow anything to make us lose all we have amassed and garnered from God's word.
These include the Promises, Assurance of Salvation, Faith, Hope of Eternal Salvation, Fellowship with the Holy Spirit, and Communion with God, amongst many others.
Coming from someone who was once a persecutor of Christians and an extremist, Apostle Paul understood the privilege he had received from God, for granting him an opportunity to experience salvation despite being an erstwhile enemy.
Just like someone who has never been imprisoned won't understand the joy of Freedom, or someone who has never been blind understand the joy of having eyesight, it is obvious that many Christians do not cherish what they have in Christ; hence, the continuous falling away observed in the Christendom.
Hold on to what you have received FIRMLY, and never give up or lose hope. Don't allow societal pressure and challenges in life that are TEMPORARY to make you lose sight of the ETERNAL GLORY that lies ahead.
THOSE WHO ENDURE TILL THE END WILL BE SAVED; DON'T GIVE UP!.
