MATTHEW 6:13
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to TAKE OUR LORD'S PRAYER SERIOUSLY; ASK GOD TO HELP YOU TO NEVER YIELD TO TEMPTATION, AND ALWAYS DELIVER YOU FROM THE EVIL ONE AND ALL HIS PLANS.
Many Christians make this prayer casually and as a matter of fulfillment of obligation, and as a result, they don't get the benefits because of the unintentional prayer.
Only God can help you to remain on the right path, the HIGHWAY OF HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS.
You need a constant renewal of God's Grace upon your life to be able to navigate through the temptations that will come your way.
Being saved and born into God's kingdom is not an escape route from temptations. Don't expect that the journey will be smooth and rosy.
The narrow way is not a comfortable way at all.
Always seek God's face and ask for strength to face the challenges, trials, hurdles and temptations that come your way EVERYDAY, to show your ABSOLUTE DEPENDENCE on Him.
The devil, we know is very busy, looking for unwary Christians he will destroy; that is his primary assignment here in this world, he wants to populate hell fire by all means possible.
Falling into temptations is one sure way of getting into satan's trap and making yourself a potential candidate of his kingdom and evil plans.
As you pray and ask God to help you to never yield to temptations, it is also important to pray that God delivers you from the devil and his antics.
The devil wants to lead you astray, snatch you from God and destroy you, but that is not God's will for you.
Ask God to help you today and every other day till you see His glorious face at last.
