In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to SHOWCASE PURE RELIGION IN YOUR DAILY LIFE, NOT BY WORDS, BUT BY DEEDS, AND ACTS OF KINDNESS TOWARDS THE FATHERLESS AND WIDOWS AND MAINTAINING A SPOTLESS GARMENT IN THIS WORLD.
God is interested in not only our inward acts - PURITY & HOLINESS of the heart, but also mindful of our outward acts - expressed as religion.
Your inward acts are unseen, but the effects are manifested outwardly. If you are PURE & HOLY, it will translate to RIGHTEOUS LIVING, and everyone who comes in contact with you would readily observe that there's something different about you.
"You shall know them by their fruits."
Show me your character and I'd tell you who you are.
Beyond preaching to people on the streets, buses, in a church or on social media, God wants us to take a step further by going out there to visit the orphans and widows, show them love by spending some time with them and giving them some relief items.
This is not as a matter of Corporate Social Responsibility, but in fulfilment of God's injunction to every child of His. While you do this, the goal is not to seek public applause or appraisal, but to please God, so there's no need to publicize the alms giving on social media like many people do today.
Most importantly, you must understand that your generosity or philanthropy can never translate to Holiness, hence the need to ENSURE YOUR GARMENT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS REMAINS PURE, SPOTLESS AND WITHOUT BLEMISH.
YOUR GOAL SHOULD BE TO KEEP YOUR GARMENT SPOTLESS AND STAIN-FREE TILL JESUS COMES; 'COS THAT'S YOUR PASSPORT TO THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB.
