GALATIANS 5:24
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to CRUCIFY YOUR FLESH, AND KILL EVERY PASSION OR APPETITE FOR FLESHLY LUSTS AND DESIRES.
If you have truly identified with Christ, one remarkable thing you must do is to CRUCIFY YOUR FLESH just as Jesus was nailed to the cross. Nailing your flesh to the cross means mortifying your body to make it irresponsive to any demand that is inimical to the spirit man.
The dead do not respond to stimulus.
If you want your Spirit man to be active, the flesh has to be nailed to the cross. The reason many Christians struggle with vices and besetting sins is because they have failed to deal with the flesh.
Mortifying the flesh gives the Spirit of God a conducive and enabling environment to thrive in, and most importantly, it is a way to show the world that you have ACTIVELY identified with Christ.
The World is watching you.
Your voice may not be heard, but your actions speak volumes and tell better your true identity and innermost thoughts.
