ACTS 22:16
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to GET YOURSELF CLEANSED AND HAVE YOUR SINS WASHED AWAY BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS, TARRY NO MORE.
The only Blood that can atone for the sins of mankind is one that has no impurities in it.
In the old testament, the blood of animals was used to ATONE for sins. It didn't wash or cleanse the offenders from their sins, it only COVERED the sins temporarily.
God saw that this method of atonement was not SUSTAINABLE and this was why He had to make a PLAN B:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His ONLY begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
He gave His son as a sacrifice to put an end to the era of animal sacrifice.
Jesus' blood was so pure, spotless and without sin, which was what qualified Him to be the one offering us PERFECT REDEMPTION.
It shouldn't end in just acknowledging, confessing and forsaking your sins. After being washed and made clean, there is need to yearn for SANCTIFICATION and subsequently - Baptism of the Holy Spirit, to empower you for a glorious life in Christ.
If you are stuck at the first level - SALVATION, God is calling you today to step up and come to the Higher Ground.
SALVATION is not forever, one can be born again today and lost again tomorrow; however, with SANCTIFICATION and HOLY GHOST BAPTISM, the Adamic nature and root of sin is taken off and you will become a wholesome child of God.
HAVE YOU BEEN TO JESUS FOR THE CLEANSING POWER?
ARE YOU WASHED IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB?
