2 TIMOTHY 2:3
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to ENDURE EVERY FORM OF HARDSHIP OR INCONVENIENCE TO PROVE YOUR WORTH AS A TRUE SOLDIER OF JESUS CHRIST.
Soldiers are known for their dedication and willingness to make sacrifices. Soldiers have a major role which is to DEFEND THE COUNTRY and PROTECT HER CITIZENS.
Despite having their individual and respective families, soldiers take an oath and vow to defend the country with their lives and never allow personal or family interests override their avowed commitment to the nation.
In like manner, as a TRUE SOLDIER of Christ, you must be ready to forfeit all your personal interests and submit your entirety to Christ, pledging total allegiance to Him alone.
Jesus Christ, our commander said "take up your cross and follow me."
As a TRUE SOLDIER, you don't have to ask any questions, just follow the commander's lead.
Rest assured that Jesus who gave His life for you can never ask you to follow Him in vain or lead you astray.
If He had no good intentions for you, the death on Calvary would have been bypassed.
Enduring Hardness as a GOOD SOLDIER of Christ means that you must be ready to BEAR EVERY PAIN, DISCOMFORT or HARDSHIP that comes your way in the line of duty.
Soldiers have no business with COMFORT ZONE. They are ready to put their lives on the line whilst defending the country they represent.
God's intention is not to abandon or ignore you while you 'Endure Hardness', Jesus has already gone through rejection for your sake, you surely won't walk that path.
God only wants to use those troubles of life to MOULD YOU and bring out BEST in you, they won't break you.
ONLY THOSE WHO ARE BRAVE ENOUGH TO ENDURE TILL THE END LIKE THE GOOD SOLDIERS THEY ARE WILL BE REWARDED AT LAST.
BE A TRUE SOLDIER INDEED!
