1 PETER 3:18
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SUFFERING OF CHRIST ON THE CROSS FOR YOU, RECONCILING YOU WITH GOD.
Jesus Christ our Lord has paid the ultimate price on the cross for us all - a vicarious death that restored the glory Adam and Eve lost, gave us back the authority and dominion they handed over to satan, and offered us eternal life.
The question is: WHY SHOULD YOU SUFFER AGAIN?
Jesus died ONCE AND FOR ALL, and if you continue in sin, it means you want to nail Him on the cross one more time. Continuing in sin is an act of ingratitude and a way of showing God that you don't deserve this precious sacrifice.
He was JUST but chose to die for UNJUST men;
He was SINLESS but chose to die for helpless SINNERS;
He owed no debt, but chose to pay in full, even in arrears for ALL our sins!
What more do you want from God that He cannot offer you?
If He could freely give His son as a ransom for the human race that was once doomed for eternity, making a U-turn and giving us a chance to reconcile with Him, why should you spurn this invitation?
Just as Jesus died in the flesh, we are expected to die to our flesh. He was equally quickened by the spirit unto resurrection, and we are to follow suit and live the ZOE LIFE.
The ZOE LIFE is the God-kind of life, an eternal, divine life, and the fullness of life that comes from a relationship with God.
Remember, no one can come to God the Father except through Jesus, the son.
You need this quickening of the Spirit to live an OPTIMAL & VICTORIOUS life in Christ.
