In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to PROVE YOUR DISCIPLESHIP BY OBEYING GOD'S WORD, HOLDING ON TO THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS AND PRACTICING THEM.
To be a disciple is not a title.
Jesus needed to make it clear to the Jews who believed Him and got converted that one sure way to show that they are His true disciples is by
CONTINUITY; PRACTICING every word of God we hear and preach.
We are enjoined to be DOERS and not just HEARERS of God's word.
HEARING is passive, but DOING is active.
You don't need to announce to people that you are Jesus' disciple, your life will do the talking.
It was in Antioch that the disciples were called CHRISTIANS for the first time because they behaved like Jesus.
What does your character and attitude portray?
How do you respond or react to injuries? Would Jesus have reacted the way you react when people step on your toes?
If you say you are Jesus' true disciple, PROVE IT BY THE LIFE YOU LIVE.
