PROVERBS 21:13
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to SHOW SOME CONCERN AND ATTEND TO THE NEEDS OF THE LESS PRIVILEGED AROUND YOU AS MUCH AS YOU CAN; DON'T HOLD BACK, SO THAT GOD WILL ALSO ATTEND TO YOUR NEEDS WHEN YOU CALL ON HIM.
The poor and needy are all around us. We see them everyday, we interact with them, and some are just passers by.
Not everyone of them would have the boldness or courage to walk up to you and tell you they are in need, but you as an individual can sense it when people are in need even without them speaking out.
For those who walk up to you and pour out their concerns, needs or worries to you, you must not turn them away. It took some level of strength for them to do that.
If you don't have anything to assist them with, you could go an extra mile and ask someone else for aid just to put a smile on that face. Someone you help today might just be the one to help you or your family member in the future.
Even if you can't offer FINANCIAL support, you could offer EMOTIONAL support (encouragement) or SPIRITUAL support (prayers).
The world is so small and what goes around comes around. See any help you offer the needy today as a SEED.
Seeds don't mature immediately.
Just like the farmer sows with expectation, enduring the pain and stress of planting/sowing the seeds, you must see every little act of kindness like that seed and give JOYFULLY, NOT GRUDGINGLY, because the harvest time will surely come.
HELP SOMEBODY TODAY AND EVERY OTHER DAY AS MUCH AS LIES WITHIN YOU.
