HEBREWS 9:28
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to TAKE ADVANTAGE OF JESUS' SACRIFICE ON THE CROSS AND GUARD YOUR INTERIM SALVATION JEALOUSY, AND PUT IN MORE EFFORT TO GET ETERNAL SALVATION WHICH MATTERS THE MOST.
Jesus was offered as a sacrifice to bring salvation to mankind, bearing our sins, blotting out all our transgressions and making us the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in Him.
Jesus' first coming was for everyone, to give SALVATION to anyone who believes in Him, but His second coming is definitely NOT FOR EVERYONE. He is coming for THE QUALIFIED.
Christ's sacrifice on the cross was a one-time event that took away the sins of many. He will appear a second time, not to deal with sin again, but to bring salvation to the SAINTS (THE RAPTURE-READY AND RAPTURABLE CHURCH) who are waiting for Him.
Jesus Christ died once and for all, meaning that His death on the cross was a complete and sufficient sacrifice, not needing to be repeated.
The Second Coming of Jesus is to perfect and consummate the salvation of those who have remained faithful to Him till the end.
The focus of Christ's second coming is not on sin or judgment (although there will be a final judgment - THE WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT), but on the salvation and reward for those who have followed Him and kept their garments PURE AND WHITE AS SNOW.
HOW ABOUT YOUR GARMENT?
ARE YOUR LAMPS TRIMMED AND GLOWING?
ARE YOUR VESSELS FILLED WITH ENOUGH OIL AS YOU AWAIT THE SECOND COMING OF OUR LORD?
JESUS IS COMING PRETTY SOON; BE READY TO MEET HIM!
