DAY 87 OF 365
1 PETER 2:23
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to BE LIKE JESUS, ACCEPT ANY CRITICISM OR INSULT FOR THE SAKE OF CHRIST, AND SURRENDER TO GOD'S WILL.
If you truly love Jesus, you must be ready to embody Him in every aspect of your life.
Jesus was insulted and ridiculed, He was humiliated and treated recklessly, but He didn't count it as anything. He took it without resistance.
At a point, when it became too heavy for Him to bear, whilst He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, He said to God: "Father, if it were possible, let this cup pass from me, nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt."
Jesus surrendered it all to God, submitting His will to God without any reservations.
When you get pushed to the wall, when you are tempted and tried beyond limits, don't lose it; don't start threatening to drop your Bible or throw in the towel. All God expects from you is to SURRENDER ALL TO HIM.
Don't blame God for allowing you to suffer, remember how Jesus responded in His time. It may not be easy, but hold on and look unto God.
One thing is certain, GOD CANNOT ABANDON YOU!
God is the Righteous Judge, and He will vindicate you and justify His calling upon your life, and ultimately grant you solace in Eternity.
DON'T GIVE UP ON GOD, COS HE WON'T GIVE UP ON YOU.
