DAY 110 OF 365
JEREMIAH 17:7-8
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to TRUST IN THE LORD AND HOPE IN HIM ALWAYS, YOU WILL BE LIKE A TREE PLANTED BY THE WATERS AND NEVER RUN DRY, YOU WILL BE EVERGREEN AND ALWAYS FRUITFUL.
Trusting in the Lord is likened to connecting to the source of life.
God is our only source of sustenance and trusting in Him is a sure way to remain alive and relevant.
Imagine two trees, one planted by the riverside and another planted by the desert.
Which of these two trees do you think will stand the test of time?
Definitely not the one by the desert!
Just as Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, only the branches connected to Him will stay alive. Any branch that is disconnected from the vine is as good as dead.
Trusting the Lord with your entirety can never be a mistake.
Abraham Faith was tested and tried, but because He trusted God, He was not disappointed.
The Bible is replete with stories of those who put their trust in God and how it all ended in praises.
You cannot TRUST God without FAITH, and you cannot PLEASE God without FAITH, therefore, FAITH IS INEVITABLE if you must prosper while doing God's will, because He assured us that HE IS A REWARDER of them that DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM.
Diligence in seeking the Lord means that you are not following God casually like everyone else. You are doing some extra work to prove to God that He is the ONLY OPTION you have.
The rewards you will get are not limited to MATERIAL BLESSINGS, but include SPIRITUAL GROWTH, a DEEPER UNDERSTANDING of God, and a CLOSER RELATIONSHIP with Him.
BLESSED IS THE MAN/WOMAN WHO TRUSTS AND HOPES IN THE LORD.
