In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE A STRANGER HERE ON EARTH, DAYS ARE FLEETING, AND TIME IS SHORT; DON'T FEEL TOO RELAXED DOWN HERE, SET YOUR AFFECTION ON ETERNITY.
Anyone who gets a tourist visa to their choicest destination feels euphoric momentarily as the joy fades away the moment they realize that they have just limited time to stay in the country as stipulated in the visa, after which they would be expected to exit.
In the same vein, every GENUINE Christian must come to terms with the fact that we are nothing but strangers here. We are in transit down here, just for a while.
Whilst we sojourn here, we are expected to live with this consciousness as we go about our daily activities, businesses, jobs, education, etc, let this thought be vivid even in your subconscious realm that you will leave this world someday.
Everything that happens here is TEMPORAL, no matter how important it is. Only things of ETERNAL CONSEQUENCE count.
Take your time daily to think about eternity and ponder on the matter of life after death.
By so doing, you will live a calculated life and always be ready for ETERNITY either through natural death or rapture.
NEVER FORGET THAT YOU ARE A STRANGER HERE!
