JOHN 17:11
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to PRAY AND ASK GOD TO KEEP YOU IN LOVE AND UNITY WITH ONE ANOTHER EVEN AS CHRIST LOVES THE CHURCH AND IS ONE AND THE SAME WITH GOD THE FATHER.
Our Lord Jesus had worries when He was praying in the Garden of Gethsemane. One major concern was the lack of love and unity He envisaged would take over the church.
Jesus had a strong feeling that there would be a time when the once-united disciples would scatter and abandon all He had taught them, which eventually displayed when Jesus ascended back to Heaven.
His fears have now become a reality in our world today as we can clearly see that the love of many has waxed cold, and people are now interested in themselves ONLY and not others.
The kind of unity Jesus prayed for is that which exists between Him and God the Father; an inseparable bond.
Jesus' argument was that they were given to Him by God, and today, His prayer is extended to everyone who is a TRUE CHILD of His, reading this now.
Jesus had you in mind Ab initio, and for that reason, you MUST manifest this LOVE and UNITY He prayed for; search within you, the answers you need are right with you.
