2 CORINTHIANS 4:18
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to FOCUS ON THE THINGS THAT HAVE ETERNAL CONSEQUENCE, NOT ON THE TEMPORAL.
It is important to focus on things that are relevant to our goals as Children of God. Setting out on a MISSION without a VISION is a wrong DECISION.
As a citizen of Heaven, what should your priorities be?
There's no way you can prepare for Heaven by abandoning HOLINESS, FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT, RIGHTEOUS LIVING, EVANGELISM & SOUL WINNING. These are the primary things you should be doing.
Only those who are not sure of where they are going treat issues of eternal consequence with levity.
This doesn't rule out the fact that secondary things like going about our businesses, making money, pursuing our careers, going to work, going to school etc, are important.
They are important of course, but they are SECONDARY.
What makes them secondary is that they will end here on EARTH. You don't need any of these in ETERNITY.
Ask yourself this candid question: These things I'm preoccupied with now, will they help me achieve my ETERNITY GOALS?
If your answer is yes, then Kudos to you, but if your answer is NO, then you need to switch priorities and stop chasing irrelevant things.
