John 17:24
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to LIVE WITH ETERNITY IN VIEW, FOR IT IS THE LORD'S DESIRE THAT YOU SEE HIM IN HIS GLORY AT LAST.
Jesus' prayer in John 17:24, reveals His heart's desire for believers to be with Him in eternity, beholding His glory at last. This perspective should shape your daily life, motivating you to live with purpose and anticipation.
Jesus wants His followers to experience the JOY and SPLENDOR of being with Him in eternity when the race is finally over.
This verse highlights the strong connection and bond between Jesus and His followers. It shows Jesus' desire to be with every TRUE & FAITHFUL disciple/follower/servant of His forever, to see His glory, and to experience Heaven after the toiling here on earth.
This scripture also highlights God's eternal love for Jesus, which existed before the foundation of the world.
This same LOVE is what made Jesus to offer Himself like a lamb, to be slaughtered for the sins He never committed, and to consummate this Love, He is anticipating the great reunion with every true bride of His at the rapture.
This should encourage you to live your life and spend your sojourning here on earth with FEAR and TREMBLING, knowing that it is just temporary, but your relationship with Jesus is FOREVER.
Wake up to this reality and live with purpose to justify Christ's Love for you and His desire to be with you forever.
