JUDE 1:5
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to REMEMBER THE CONSEQUENCES OF UNBELIEF THAT BEFELL SOME ISRAELITES OF OLD AND ELECT TO TRUST, OBEY AND FOLLOW GOD WHOLEHEARTEDLY TILL THE END.
God did so many mighty works in the lives of the Israelites, His own people. He led them out of the servitude and bondage in Egypt and accompanied them through the wilderness.
He didn't abandon them on this journey, He was a pillar of cloud by the day and a pillar of fire by the night; He provided them with manna and quails from above, they never went hungry for one day.
They needed water and God instructed Moses to strike the rock to provide water for them, but the next time due to their stubbornness and murmuring, Moses wouldn't obey God's word to speak to the rock, He struck it out of anger, but even though God obliged him and gave them water, *HE WAS DENIED ENTRY INTO THE PROMISED LAND.*
Moses paid the price for disobedience and even had his body being contended for by satan, but eventually, Angel Michael retrieved it. However, the obstinate and unrepentant Israelites who were the reason Moses couldn't enter the promised land he suffered for were severely dealt with by God.
Many perished in the wilderness and had no opportunity to join the rest into their promised land.
Today, many are still disobeying God like apostate Israel and damning the consequences of their actions. Do not wait for history to repeat itself again by remaining adamant.
OBEY GOD'S WORDS, LIVE FOR HIM AND BELIEVE IN HIM; LET THIS BE TRANSLATED AND REFLECTED IN YOUR DAILY LIFESTYLE.
OBEY GOD WITHOUT RESERVATIONS AND YOU'D REAP THE BLESSINGS THEREOF.
