JEREMIAH 9:23
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to NEVER BOAST ABOUT YOUR WISDOM, STRENGTH, RICHES OR POSSESSIONS BECAUSE THEY WILL SURELY END SOMEDAY, LET YOUR BOASTING BE BECAUSE YOU UNDERSTAND GOD'S WAYS AND KNOW HIM.
There is no gainsaying the fact that everything in this world is EPHEMERAL and not worth gambling with because your soul is INVALUABLE.
If you must glory in this world, let it not be because of the properties you have acquired all over the world, the wealth you have amassed, the certificates you have acquired, the fame and fortune you enjoy or the human wisdom you exhibit that makes you think you are better than anyone else.
The crux of the matter here is that you must HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE THE LORD, don't allow any of the aforementioned earthly acquisitions and personal aggrandizement deny you a place with God in eternity.
"Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.."
If what you call treasure are mundane things of this life, then you have nothing, but if what you call TREASURE is the Joy of Salvation you have because you have Jesus in your life and you know God experientially, CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!
THE RICHEST PEOPLE ON EARTH ARE THOSE WHO HAVE JESUS AND KNOW GOD PERSONALLY!
