2 CORINTHIANS 13:4
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE RESURRECTION POWER WHICH IS AT YOUR DISPOSAL AND WORKING IN YOU; LIVE YOUR LIFE EVERY DAY BY CONSTANT FAITH IN THE CROSS.
Jesus was crucified through weakness, meaning that He purposely did not use His power as part of the God-head and second person in the trinity.
As the word of God personified, Jesus had the power to stop his arrest and crucifixion. He could have dealt with his abductors if He wanted to, He could have sent 10,000 Angels, the song writer said, but He never did so.
However, being so myopic, the devil never knew God's plan, he had no idea what was in the offing, he could not see the bigger picture.
Jesus came, lived, changed our lives for the best, and charted a new course for humanity, giving us freedom from sin and positioning us for a glorious future with Him in eternity.
The same RESURRECTION POWER by which He rose from the dead after three days is still at work today, fully available to everyone who aligns with Jesus Christ.
God expects every true child of His to live their lives everyday by having CONSTANT FAITH IN THE CROSS, never losing sight of the OLD RUGGED CROSS where our journey with Him began.
KEEP LOOKING UP TO JESUS, THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF YOUR FAITH, AND HOLD ON TO THE CROSS TILL THE END.
