BLAMELESS AT LAST (GIFTS VS FRUIT) - Nuggets from 1 Corinthians 1:7-8

1 CORINTHIANS 1:7-8

In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to ACQUIRE AND DO NOT LOSE THE GIFT OF THE SPIRIT WHILE YOU WAIT FOR THE COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS; SEEK THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT THAT GOD WILL CONFIRM YOU BLAMELESS WHEN OUR LORD JESUS RETURNS.

Apostle Paul was speaking to the Corinthian church and he was not just speaking to one person, which means He wasn't implying that one person should have ALL THE 9 GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:
- Word of wisdom
- Word of knowledge
- Faith
- Healing
- Working of Miracles
- Prophecy
- Discerning of spirits
- Different kinds of tongues
- Interpretation of tongues.

It is possible that a Christian could have more than one of these gifts, but the crux of the matter here is that YOU SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST ONE GIFT BUT DO NOT REST ON YOUR OARS AND FEEL YOU HAVE ARRIVED.

Having the GIFT(S) OF THE HOLY SPIRIT cannot recommend you to Heaven. Only the COMPLETE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT can qualify you for Heaven.

There couldn't be a better time to send this reminder to the waiting church to NEVER SLACK OR LAG BEHIND at this point in time.

Only those who are saved, washed in the blood, sanctified, filled with the Holy Spirit and have the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT:
Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, and Temperance, will be confirmed by the Lord Jesus at the rapture.

DO NOT SLACK, DO NOT LAG BEHIND; IN ALL YOUR GETTING, GET THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT.
