Isaiah 31:1
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to STOP SEEKING AID FROM THE WRONG QUARTERS, STOP PUTTING YOUR TRUST AND CONFIDENCE IN MAN; RELY ONLY ON GOD, SEEK HIM AND PUT YOUR TRUST IN THE LORD.
God considers it an act of FOOLISHNESS and a MISERABLE THING to trust in the arm of flesh, putting confidence in creatures who are vulnerable and unstable. It shows utter disregard to ignore God your maker, and run to mere mortals who are at the mercy of God our creator.
This is the case of many today, both children of this world and Children of the Kingdom. Resorting to getting help from man is a direct way of telling God that He does not have the capacity to deliver you or save you from any trouble you are faced with.
It is FUTILE to trust or make alliances with mortal men because they will surely disappoint you. You have a benefactor for instance, and instead of thanking God for providing for you through that person, you resort to WORSHIPING and SINGING the praises of the benefactor. If something happens to the person tomorrow, your help is over, proving the point that it is BASELESS and USELESS to trust in man.
God will not come down from Heaven in person to help you, yes; He uses men to help men, but do not fail to ascribe the GLORY and HONOR due to God because He will not share His Glory with any man.
If you have been trusting man all these while, it calls for absolute repentance and a detour.
DON'T WAIT FOR MAN TO FAIL YOU BEFORE YOU NOW TURN TO GOD FOR HELP; DON'T RUN TO GOD ONLY WHEN YOU NEED HELP.
PITCH YOUR TENT WITH GOD AND WILL NEVER DISAPPOINT YOU
