WORKING OUT YOUR SALVATION - Nuggets from Philippians 2:12

DAY 292 OF 365

WORKING OUT YOUR SALVATION
(Nuggets from Philippians 2:12)

There are two types/phases of Salvation every believer has to undergo:
- Interim Salvation
- Eternal Salvation

You can't claim to have been finally saved if you are just boasting about being saved in the now because you still have a VERY LONG WAY TO GO.

Being SAVED IN THE INTERIM is A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, but the ULTIMATE SALVATION is what counts - THE ETERNAL SALVATION.

Working out your Salvation takes diligent effort, consistency, dedication, focus, resilience, self-denial, attention to details, watchfulness, a clear understanding of times and seasons, and being conversant with the signs of the end times as enumerated in the scriptures.

WORKING OUT YOUR SALVATION means you must do away with every NONCHALANT ATTITUDE and UNSERIOUSNESS towards the things of God. You have to kill every idea that your service to God is profitable to Him.

God is not interested in your service to Him as much as your DEDICATION TO OBEYING HIS INSTRUCTIONS; little wonder the Bible says - "Obedience is better than sacrifice" (1 Samuel 15:22).

Interim Salvation comes by GRACE because you believed and accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior and you can't take credit for it because it is a GIFT FROM GOD.

Salvation is not a reward for your GOOD DEEDS, so you can't afford to boast about it, you should be humble instead, because ONCE SAVED is not ULTIMATELY SAVED.

Interim Salvation can be lost in a moment because SALVATION IS NOT A ONE-TIME EVENT.

The moment you sign up to hand over your life to Jesus, the STRUGGLE BEGINS. Salvation is not a DESTINATION, it's a LIFE-LONG JOURNEY that continues till you draw your last breath or transition in the Rapture.

I challenge you today to WORK OUT YOUR ULTIMATE SALVATION BY SAFEGUARDING YOUR INTERIM SALVATION, LIVING YOUR LIFE IN REVERENCE AND OBEDIENCE TO GOD WITHOUT COMPROMISE.

Don't relax or feel that the SALVATION you received cannot be lost. The GREATEST UNDOING of Christians today is the ENTITLEMENT MENTALITY, making them feel that God owes them Salvation, forgetting that they have got a lot of work to do to earn it.

SALVATION is not acquired by your good deeds, neither is it by merit, it is A GIFT FROM GOD.

CHERISH THIS GIFT AND LIVE YOUR LIFE WITH THIS CONSCIOUSNESS THAT YOU HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THE FINAL/ULTIMATE SALVATION, AND UNTIL THEN, STAY FOCUSED ON THE GOAL.

This is HOLINESS CHALLENGE
