PSALM 118:8

 
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to TRUST IN THE LORD ALWAYS AND NEVER TAKE THE RISK OR MAKE THE MISTAKE OF PUTTING YOUR CONFIDENCE IN MAN.

 
Confidence in man has been the bane of generations from time immemorial till date. This happens as a result of insecurity, lack of self-awareness and failure to depend totally on God.
Dependence on God is FAITH IN ACTION, whilst dependence on man is FAILURE IN ACTION.

 
God can be trusted even when you don't deserve his attention. He can never ignore you if you trust Him and believe that He is capable of handling whatever ugly situation you are facing right now.

 
Putting your confidence in man is like building on sand, because human beings are fallible in nature and the worldly possessions flaunted by men do not last, they are fleeting.
Trusting in man will only lead you to disappointment and ultimate collapse, but trusting in God is like building your life on a solid, dependable foundation which will definitely provide stability and strength through adversity.

 
You have two choices before you: 

To KEEP ON TRUSTING MAN and continue to regret over and again after several disappointments, or to TRUST GOD WHOLEHEARTEDLY and continue to reap the dividends of total dependence on Him.

 
CHOOSE WISELY, AND YOU'D BE GLAD YOU DID.
