PROVERBS 11:20
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to REFRAIN FROM EVERY FORWARDNESS AND WALK IN UPRIGHTNESS, FOR GOD DELIGHTS IN SUCH.
A froward person is someone who willfully goes against God's instructions, intentionally doing what is wrong not as a matter of ignorance but out of PERVERSENESS AND REBELLION.
Since Jesus brought salvation to mankind, we transitioned from the era of the law into the era of grace. Now, the commandments of God are no longer inscribed on TABLETS OF STONE, but on the TABLES OF OUR HEART.
Ignorance of the laws and commandments of God is not an excuse to keep living in sin; Being in the era of grace is not an excuse to keep committing sin wilfully and abounding in it.
It is only a REBEL who wants to dare constituted authority that goes ahead to do what is unlawful, knowing there are consequences for such actions.
A FROWARD person is incorrigible, always resisting TRUTH and never willing to be guided or told what to do. Such a person is good at finding faults in others but won't tolerate it when you point out their errors. A froward person has a twisted heart, skewed against God's will.
GOD HATES SUCH PEOPLE!
They are disgusting to Him.
A FROWARD PERSON will never acknowledge his/her sins, hence repentance is not in their agenda.
You wouldn't want to be in this category of those who intentionally offend God by their deeds.
God delights only in those who are UPRIGHT and walk in INTEGRITY.
"There is no legacy as rich as INTEGRITY." God is well pleased with all those who know His will and do His bidding, not waiting to be compelled to do so.
BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO KNOW THE WILL OF GOD AND DO SAME.
