1 THESSALONIANS 4:1
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to LIVE AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT AND WALK IN A MANNER WORTHY OF GOD.
As Apostle Paul encourages us in 1 Thessalonians 4:1, _"Finally, brothers and sisters, we instructed you how to live in order to please God, as in fact you are living. Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more."_
This scripture reminds us that as followers of Christ, we are called to live a life that honours and pleases God. It's about living intentionally and purposefully, aligning our ACTIONS and DECISIONS with God's will.
Even as you have been taught how you ought to walk and please God in this Journey of life, you should do it willingly, joyfully and not as though you are being coerced to please God, against your will.
I CHALLENGE you to pursue Holiness by striving to live according to God's WILL and PURPOSE. Avoid behaviors that are contrary to His will, and by accepting this challenge, you're commiting to live a life that reflects your DEVOTION to God.
One practical way you can demonstrate your commitment to living a life that pleases God is to - Grow in your relationship with Him by continuously seeking to deepen your understanding of His word and applying its teachings to your life.
MAY YOUR ACTIONS AND DECISIONS BE GUIDED BY A DESIRE TO LIVE FOR AND PLEASE HIM.
