THE INEVITABLE DUTY OF MAN
(Nuggets from Mark 12:33)
Revelation 4:11 tells us one major reason you and I were created:
"Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."
God created all things - humans, animals, fishes, plants, trees, mountains, oceans, all planets, every single thing in this world was created FOR HIS OWN PLEASURE.
God wants to look at His entire creation and smile in satisfaction that He did not waste His time crafting everything after all.
As an individual, you have an inevitable duty and responsibility - TO LOVE THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL UNDERSTANDING, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL and WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.
In addition, you must understand that LOVING GOD IS NOT ENOUGH. You also have to EXTEND THIS LOVE to your neighbors, loving them as you love yourself, nothing short of ABSOLUTE LOVE.
This is the kind of LOVE our Lord Jesus Christ modeled by giving Himself as a sacrifice, accepting to die on the cross for you.
This is far more better, weightier and acceptable to God than any form of offering or sacrifice you want to offer unto Him.
Is your LOVE UNRESERVED or SELECTIVE?
Do you love like Jesus or are you waiting for some sort of appreciation from those you show love?
I CHALLENGE YOU TO LOVE LIKE JESUS, GIVING YOUR ALL AND EXPECTING NOTHING IN RETURN.
This LOVE in our context WAITS FOR NOTHING IN RETURN, it is PURE, DIVINE and SACRIFICIAL in nature.
THIS LOVE IS NOT AN OPTION, IT IS YOUR DUTY FOR AS LONG AS YOU ARE ALIVE.
This is HOLINESS CHALLENGE
