DEAD TO SIN, BUT LIVING FOR CHRIST - Nuggets from Colossians 3:3

DAY 313 OF 365
DEAD TO SIN BUT LIVING FOR CHRIST
(Nuggets from Colossians 3:3)

The moment you identify with Christ, your old man (the sinful nature) is CONSIDERED DEAD and NAILED TO THE CROSS with Christ and because Jesus Christ our Lord resurrected from the dead, by Faith you now are now raised with Him to a NEW LIFE IN CHRIST.

This means that your old value systems, passions, habits, characters, inclinations and associations change automatically.

To be DEAD IN CHRIST, it means you have aligned with Him and believe in the finished work on the cross that brought you redemption, and the new life you now live is SAFE from any form of MISHAP or SPIRITUAL ACCIDENT and SECURE from any INTENTIONAL ATTACK or EXTERNAL AGGRESSION from the devil.

Christ is in God and your life is hidden in Christ which means that you are equally hidden in God.

This assurance is for only those who have died to the flesh (the sinful nature).
Being DEAD TO SIN means that you do not respond to the stimulus of sin and LIVING FOR CHRIST means the only language you understand as long as you live in this world is RIGHTEOUSNESS.

If you assess yourself now, can you boldly say that you are CURRENTLY DEAD TO SIN and LIVING FOR CHRIST or is the reverse the case?

All who are DEAD TO SIN are LIVING for CHRIST and all who are LIVING IN SIN are SPIRITUALLY DEAD.

Where do you belong?

This is HOLINESS CHALLENGE
