SEEK THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART
(Nuggets from Psalm 119:10)
Today's scripture emphasizes the need to PURSUE PERSONAL HOLINESS THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD.
Verse 9 says:
"Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word."
Cleansing, purging and thorough purification can be achieved through the APPLICATION OF GOD'S WORD, written or spoken.
Wisdom is the APPLICATION OF KNOWLEDGE, knowing God's word and applying it shows that you are a wise person, but the UNWISE are those who hear God's word, know it but fail to apply it.
How do you apply God's word?
Through obedience, always seeking to do God's will consistently without compromise.
It is possible to seek the God casually, in pretense, not ready to surrender fully to Him. God does not want partial obedience, He demands ABSOLUTE OBEDIENCE.
Wandering away from God's commandments disconnects you from God and puts you in harm's way, hence, the Psalmist's prayer.
You too should make this prayer today and decide to SEEK THE LORD WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART, living your life EVERYDAY TO PLEASE HIM and be a role model others should look up to and a means of salvation to multitudes of unsaved folks.
SEEK THE LORD NOW WHILE YOU MAY, DELAY SHOULD NEVER BE AN OPTION.
