THE BEST DECISION IN LIFE
(Nuggets from Ecclesiastes 6:12)
The wisest man ever - Solomon had to ask this all-important question after talking about the VANITY and EVILS OF LIFE:
Who knows what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spends as a shadow? For who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?
WHAT A QUESTION!!
What is good for a man sounds lighter, so I would rather paraphrase it this way:
"For who knows What is BEST for a man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spends as a shadow? Who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?"
This is a question every human being living in this world today should answer whilst you breathe, because many who failed to answer this question before departing this world are now living in unending regrets for ETERNITY.
Once you have reached the age of accountability in life, when you now know what is GOOD and what is BAD, at that point, you become fully responsible and accountable for your actions.
Live your life with this consciousness that your life here in this world is nothing but TEMPORARY because The REAL LIFE is the AFTERLIFE, that is LIFE AFTER DEATH.
When someone dies in this world, it is just the body that dies, the container housing the spirit and soul. The moment the body packs up, the spirit and soul depart immediately to the realm of ETERNITY because they are IMMORTAL.
Whether someone dies in SIN or in RIGHTEOUSNESS, the SOUL never DIES. It lives on, but the eternal destination is what matters now; WHERE WILL YOUR SOUL BE IN ETERNITY?
This is the REAL QUESTION behind the question King Solomon asked.
So look inwards now and assess your life.
What is it that this world is offering you currently that is worth jettisoning your PRECIOUS SOUL for?
What is there in this world that is worth going to hell fire for?
MAKE A FIRM RESOLVE TODAY TO DEDICATE THE REST OF YOUR LIFETIME TO PLEASING THE LORD SO THAT YOU WILL BE ON THE HAPPY SIDE IN ETERNITY.
This is HOLINESS CHALLENGE
