DAY 200 OF 365
GENESIS 12:3
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to APPROPRIATE THE BLESSINGS OF ABRAHAM IN YOUR LIFE BY BEING FAITHFUL AND RIGHTEOUS LIKE HIM.
Abraham was able to draw God's attention because He denied himself certain things to please God.
When God told him to leave his kindred and native home and go to an unknown destination, he did not question God, he yielded and followed.
Many times, you get instructions from God as an industrial, but find it difficult to yield. Obedience to God's word brings BLESSINGS.
Abraham obeyed God without expecting anything in return, little did he know that his act of obedience would be the turning point in his life, leading TO GENERATIONAL BLESSINGS.
What is God asking you to do today?
Why are you still being rational, trying to find reasons why you won't do what God is asking you to do?
It is not enough to appropriate or sing "Abraham's blessings are mine", when you are not ready to obey God like Abraham did. The blessings of Abraham are for the obedient.
God has promised to bless all those who bless you, and curse all those who curse you, if only you OBEY HIM and do what pleases Him every day of your life.
A curse causeless shall not stand, meaning that anyone who curses or wishes you evil for no just cause will be cursed by God, and anyone who blesses you will enjoy God's blessings.
OBEY GOD AND ENJOY THE DIVIDENDS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.
