JOHN 3:19
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to STAND FIRM IN YOUR FAITH, AVOID EVIL DEEDS, AND CHOOSE LIGHT OVER DARKNESS.
John 3:19 says, "This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil."
As a follower of Christ, you are called to stand firm in your faith and not allow the light in you to be overshadowed by the world's darkness. This means that you must strive to be a light in the darkness, shining brightly for all to see, refusing to compromise your values and principles, even when faced with opposition and standing firm in your convictions, unshakeable in your Faith.
The world prefers darkness to LIGHT, and evil is more celebrated than GOOD, paving the way for most Christians who are not deeply-rooted in Christ to be easily swayed.
However, as a true SOLDIER of Christ, you MUST be willing to stand FIRM, even in the face of adversity.
Those who stand firm in their Faith, will be rewarded. Jesus said, "You are the light of the world...let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:14, 16).
Will you stand FIRM in your Faith, unwavering by the world's darkness and the evil deeds within?
Will you shine brightly as a LIGHT in the darkness, refusing to compromise your VALUES and PRINCIPLES?
Standing firm in your Faith, is not always easy, however, with God's strength and guidance, you can SHINE brightly as a light in the darkness, bringing glory to God and reflecting His light to those around you.
Light and Darkness are two parallels, so you shouldn't expect to be accepted by the world. Get ready for REJECTION, RIDICULE AND RESISTANCE, but DON'T EVER DIM YOUR LIGHT.
LIGHT WILL SHINE AND OVER SHADOW DARKNESS AT LAST!
