DAY 192 OF 365
ROMANS 7:22
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to TAKE PLEASURE IN GOD'S WORD IN YOUR INNERMOST BEING.
Just like the Psalmist, Apostle Paul took delight in the law of God, always finding pleasure and satisfaction in God's word in His innermost being.
How much of God's word do you have in the recesses of your heart?
You cannot appreciate God's word if you have not taken your time to eat, assimilate, ruminate and digest it.
At some point, David, the Psalmist also recounted how He hid the word of God in His heart so that He won't sin against God. Show me a Christian whose heart is saturated with God's word, and I'd show you
a Christian who wants to please God at all times.
You are what you consume.
Spend quality time reading and listening to God's word, and over time, it will permeate the fabrics and recesses of your mind.
When you consume God's word over time and harbor it inwardly, it becomes evident outwardly in your daily interactions with people.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU READ OR LISTEN TO GOD'S WORD?
HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU SPEND WITH GOD EVERYDAY?
PLACE PREMIUM ON GOD'S WORD AND NEVER GET TIRED OF CONSUMING IT.
