ACTS 21:13
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to EMBRACE A DEEPER LEVEL OF COMMITMENT TO YOUR FAITH, EVEN IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY.
Paul's words in Acts 21:13 reveal his unwavering dedication to his faith: "Then Paul answered, 'Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be imprisoned but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus"' (NIV).
It's vital and essential for every believer to cultivate a deep commitment to his/her faith that transcends circumstances. Paul's example inspires us to prioritize our relationship with God, even when faced with challenges and opposition.
Apostle Paul was ever ready to not just be bound, but as well ready to die for the name of the Lord.
Like Paul did, stand UNMOVED in your faith, like a rock in the midst of life's turbulent waters or even when threatened to be killed, and this can only happen when you build a strong foundation in Christ Jesus.
You can only be FIRM when you are rooted in God's word, studying the Bible to deepen your understanding of His will and promises, making your hopes unshakable in God's sovereignty, even in the midst of trails and tribulations.
Have it in mind that challenges will definitely come. Fear and anxiety, distractions and complacency will come to toss or hinder your willingness to stand firm for God, causing you to prioritize other things above God.
But you can overcome these challenges by seeking God's guidance through prayers and studying his word.
SEEK GOD'S GUIDANCE TO FORTIFY YOUR FAITH WITH UNWAVERING CONVICTION.
