PSALM 37:8
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to REFRAIN FROM ANGER AND TURN AWAY FROM RAGE; DO NOT LOSE YOUR TEMPER UNNECESSARILY BECAUSE IT WILL CAUSE YOU MORE HARM.
Anger is one thing humans have in common. We always want to express ourselves and feel robbed whenever we have not satisfied that display of ego and pride in us.
Most people see anger as a show of strength, not knowing that they are indirectly portraying FEAR IN A MASK and a LOUD DISPLAY OF INSECURITY.
It is natural to get angry when offended by people, but what makes you a different breed as a CHILD OF GOD is your refusal to respond the way a natural man would.
A natural man is unregenerate and behaves exactly as expected by a natural person, but a SANCTIFIED person would respond in the most unconventional and surprising way, totally counter-cultural and the exact way Jesus would respond in any situation.
Anger is natural but this is where SANCTIFICATION comes in. When you are SANCTIFIED, you find yourself indifferent to things that would have made you angry normally.
Losing your temper out of rage always leads to regrets and in most cases, irreversible situations that you may not have the chance to relive or amend.
BE SLOW TO ANGER, BE SANCTIFIED, BE LIKE JESUS!
