In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to BE A TRUE DISCIPLE OF CHRIST AND LOVE LIKE JESUS.
A disciple is a follower, not in word but in action and deed. Jesus didn't preach and show us the way to just do as He said, but to do as He did.
He led the life - A LOVING LIFE.
Jesus' LOVE cut across all cadres and levels in the society. He associated with everyone - the sick, the possessed, the condemned, the isolated, the children, the aged, the poor, the rich, etc, and all his interactions with them were without PRIDE or PREJUDICE.
Jesus was EXTRAORDINARY in all ramifications. He didn't just come to this world to die for our sins and reconcile us with God, He left a legacy for generations to come.
It is easier to preach the Gospel when you love without bias. Soul-winning would be much easier if Christians loved one another as well as strangers.
Unfortunately, we see hatred, selfishness, betrayal and all manner of wicked acts amongst Christians who should be like Jesus. Little wonder many are still languishing in sin, because the so-called Christians are not qualified yet.
PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH!
We are to showcase all we have learnt from the life and times of our Lord Jesus Christ during our pilgrimage here, most importantly His UNEQUIVOCAL and UNFEIGNED LOVE.
ARE YOU A TRUE DISCIPLE?
LOVE LIKE JESUS!
