WALK AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT - Nuggets from Ephesians 5:8

EPHESIANS 5:8

In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to EMBRACE YOUR NEW IDENTITY IN CHRIST BY WALKING AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT, ALWAYS.

The past life of a believer before they embraced Christ is a life full of sin, ignorance of God and separation from His light. But by accepting Jesus, we're being brought out from spiritual darkness into the light of God's grace.

Having this understanding, this is a call to action, urging us to live in accordance with our new identity as children of God that has seen the light in Him. You can't claim to have seen the light and you're still being controlled by the flesh, the flesh has no good intention for you that's why you must consciously reject every of its works.

WALKING IN LIGHT means to reflect God's character by embracing Righteousness, Holiness, Truthfulness e.t.c.
Living this life of light, we must be consistent with our new identity with Christ, not having any form of darkness in you, by so doing, your life will be a challenge to unbelievers.

So, I charge us today to walk in light always and never give the devil a FOOTHOLD.
