1 PETER 5:4
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to LIVE YOUR LIFE IN SUCH A WAY THAT WILL GET YOU QUALIFIED FOR A CROWN OF GLORY WHEN OUR CHIEF SHEPHERD AND SAVIOR APPEARS.
Jesus is coming again, not for everyone, but for ONLY those who are anticipating His return and living HOLY and CONSECRATED lives.
To such Christians, God has promised a CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, a CROWN OF GLORY that never fades.
Not everyone who makes it to Heaven eventually will have a CROWN of GLORY, some will have no crowns at all, while some will have crowns with NO STARS.
Having stars in your crown will be a well-deserved reward for the labor you put in, serving God FAITHFULLY here on Earth, without murmuring, pretense or EYE-SERVICE.
You must understand that every service you render in God's house is unto God, not to any man. We are all accountable to God, not man; so why should you be waiting for men's applause when you know that it is God who would give the ultimate reward?
Serve God with all your might because He is the reason behind your life and existence. If you are not living for God, what then justifies your presence here on Earth?
Revelation 4:11 states clearly that every creature, both past, present and future were all created for God's pleasure. This means that if your life is not pleasing to God, you are not justifying the reason for which He created you.
Are you looking forward to this great day when the CHIEF SHEPHERD of your SOUL will appear in the clouds to receive His bride (The Glorious Church).
Don't forget the reason you started this journey in the first place. Let the ETERNAL REWARD fuel your passion and be your driving force to never turn back.
YOU HAVE COME TOO FAR TO TURN BACK NOW; PREPARE TO RECEIVE YOUR REWARD WHEN JESUS COMES AGAIN.
