HAGGAI 2:7
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to BRACE UP, AND PREPARE YOURSELF BECAUSE GOD WILL SOON SHAKE THE WORLD; JESUS, THE DESIRE OF ALL NATIONS WILL SOON APPEAR AND HIS GLORY WILL OVERSHADOW THE WHOLE EARTH.
Prophet Haggai played a pivotal role in motivating the Jews to rebuild the Second Temple after their return from the Babylonian exile.
This scripture has a dual interpretation which was relevant at the time of Prophet Haggai, and also to us in world today.
When the Jews returned from Exile, they saw the need to rebuild the temple for God after being motivated by the Prophet and at that time, God spoke through Him, assuring them that He would shake the nations by way of compelling them to send in resources and treasures to aid the rebuilding of the temple effortlessly, which gave them hope and assurance that God's presence had been restored once again.
On the other hand, as a future prophecy, another interpretation of this scripture is that a time is coming when 'JESUS CHRIST' will become 'THE DESIRE OF ALL NATIONS, when the whole world will seek Him and long for Him at His second coming.
They will behold Him who they crucified and utterly regret.
At that time, He won't be coming back as a little baby born into poor family or in a manger, He is coming as the KING OF KINGS and the LORD OF LORDS, the GOVERNOR AMONG THE NATIONS, whose GLORY and SPLENDOR will fill the whole Earth as water covers the sea.
THE PRINCE OF PEACE IS COMING BACK AGAIN TO RESTORE PEACE, ORDER AND SANITY IN THIS CHAOTIC WORLD.
Before He comes, rest assured that He will shake things and things around for your good, to provide an enabling environment and conducive atmosphere for you to thrive in HOLINESS & RIGHTEOUSNESS whilst you await the second coming of Jesus.
