ROMANS 8:11
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to SUBMIT YOURSELF TO THE SPIRIT OF GOD TO COME AND DWELL IN YOU AND QUICKEN YOUR MORTAL BODY.
The problem many "Christians" of our time have is that they live in presumption, not truly convinced of their calling, making them feel comfortable to live their daily lives without the presence of the Holy Spirit within them.
It is FATAL to live in this world without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. If the Holy Spirit is not permanently resident in your heart, you can neither survive nor thrive in this world.
The Holy Spirit is the executor of God's projects and programs and He has been in operation from eternity past till this present time, and will continue to operate till eternity to come.
He is the RESURRECTION and the LIFE, the QUICKENING POWER by which Jesus Christ our Lord and savior resurrected after three days in the tomb.
As Jesus Christ died in the flesh and resurrected from the dead by this same SPIRIT, we are expected to die to the flesh and its activities and resurrect from all dead works, living our lives for Jesus every blessed day.
The Holy Spirit has the full capacity to quicken your mortal body and make you operate in the Spirit and subdue the flesh.
The reason many believers struggle with sins of the flesh is because they have not submitted to the Lordship of the Holy Spirit and asked Him to take full control. If He comes in, He makes you to be naturally inclined to doing God's will and bearing fruits unto RIGHTEOUSNESS - THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT.
Examine yourself now, can you boldly say that you have the SPIRIT OF GOD in you?
SUBMIT TO THE HOLY SPIRIT AND CONTINUE IN HOLINESS TO ENABLE HIM QUICKEN YOUR MORTAL BODY CONTINUOUSLY.
