HEBREWS 13:16
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to ALWAYS BE GENEROUS TO OTHERS, BOTH ACQUAINTANCES AND STRANGERS ALIKE, DON'T BE SELECTIVE IN DOING GOOD, FOR THIS IS ONE SACRIFICE THAT MAKES GOD HAPPY.
Suppose you had the opportunity to do something that would make the President of your country or the King of a great Dynasty happy, would you let such an opportunity slip? NO WAY! Such a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity demands that you seize the moment and leave an indelible mark and impression.
If you could go out of your way to please a MORTAL being, how much more our HEAVENLY FATHER who owns the entire universe?
Don't you count it a privilege to know what makes God happy? Apart from living a HOLY and CONSECRATED life, helping the needy through giving of alms is also counted as a form of worship or service to God.
To communicate means to reach out as much as lies within you and helping others even without being coerced or waiting to be told.
Always take it as a RESPONSIBILITY and see it as an act of worship and reverence to God whenever you do good to people, not for applause or accolades, but to the GLORY OF GOD.
If you do it to please men or draw some attention and get some form of appreciation by men, you will be AWARDED with FAME, but when you do it silently to honour God, you will be REWARDED both in this world and in eternity.
DON'T BE WEARY OF DOING GOOD.
