1 THESSALONIANS 5:15

In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to NEVER REPAY EVIL FOR EVIL, BE KIND AND DO NOT BE SELECTIVE WHEN DOING GOOD TO PEOPLE.

In a world where people are inclined to revenge, retaliation, payback and belief in the karma effect, children of God are expected to embrace love and forgiveness and choose kindness over hatred and revenge.

The life of Jesus exemplified forgiveness throughout His earthy ministry. He forgave Peter despite the denials, and also forgave those who crucified Him.

If you are truly crucified with Christ, you have to live according to His will, not yours. As you forgive others, you should also preach this to everyone around you and see that none of them pays back evil for every evil done to them.

Spread the message of LOVE and FORGIVENESS wherever you go. Always expect people to hurt you, be prepared for it and forgive them in advance so that when it eventually happens, it doesn't come like a shocker to you.

Jesus gave room for recidivists who would intentionally hurt you just to test your emotions/feelings and play with your intelligence. When Peter asked Him how many times he should forgive his offenders, Jesus said SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN TIMES, that's 70 x 7 (490 Times).

Do you really want to get a book to record all the people who offend you for every time they do so?
Jesus meant that FORGIVENESS IS INFINITE, there are no limits to forgiveness.

Do not expect too much from people either. Do not expect anyone who offended you to come and apologize first before you forgive them, because your waiting could lead to an eternity with unresolved and unsettled matters with loads of people you never created the time to forgive even though you had the opportunity to.

MAY GOD GIVE YOU THE GRACE TO FORGIVE ALL YOUR OFFENDERS AB INITIO.
